I think it's a load of bull as it says we want Remy when that is not true

It might not be down to our preferred choice but who's left as available. And I suppose if Remy actually embraced the challenge, it might work out okay, even if he couldn't play in the last match.

We'd have a bloody good choice if we signed all the strikers muted.... but it's ironic how hard it seems to sign even one of them, even when you're top of the league.

The world supposedly makes progress faster than ever before but signing footballers seems ever more complex.

Manipulative agents, indiscreet leaks, so many aspects to every negotiation and even football clubs making decoy enquiries for people they never intend to sign.

My life how many hours must be wasted.

What, the ones we kept quiet about?

It's all smoke and mirrors, like a 70's disco, Mr. Ranieri on the dance floor doing his best John Travolta.

The real target will amaze and shock us all by either being utterly brilliant or Remy.

I wish I could somehow adequately project the image that creates in my mind.

He's definitely got a powder blue leisure suit on.

exactly the same thing as aranguiz then? club wants him to sign with us cause we're offering more/not in the same league, he thinks we're shit and doesn't want to sign

shit ? that s a bit unfair. he would rather sign for inter.  Leicester/inter ??  suspect 99% of players would make the same decision, especially those already settled in Italy.

I'm not sure that says he prefers Inter over us, okay he might have waited for their response, but from his point of view it would be sensible to get Inter and Leicester to compete for him so he can get a better contract. It is likely to be his last big one, which probably plays into our hands since we are capable of giving him a bigger final pay cheque.

It's not as if moving to the Premier League will cause him to lose his place in the Italian national team for the Euros, and he knows that. He will stay if he decides he doesn't want the extra millions over "home comforts" and moving his family for a couple of years (or sentimental reasons, like Milan being a former big club)... you have to question his decision making ability. 9 out of 10 of us would move and take the big pay day in the Premier League, it's not as though it's a step down from Serie A.

Not what he seems to have said at all.

Some of you act like every article posted on here is a 100% accurate reflection of the situation at the exact time it is posted.

I swear I could go and set up 10 Wordpress blogs, post conflicting things once an hour about someone we're supposed to be signing and people on here would be going on about how the situation is changing all the time.

...but does he know that ?? Who would be dropped for his inclusion in our current team ?? Perhaps he doesn't fancy suffering the same fate as the last players that arrived from Serie A.

If he adds enough this season to win us the title, I don't care if he never plays again. Now's not the time to worry about the long term.
