MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Sounds more suited to our needs than Remy. We clearly need another striker option. But, with Schlupp seemingly out for a while yet, we also need experienced cover out wide.Ranieri always gives the impression we need two players for each position yet we only have three wide attackers just now. Mahrez, Albrighton and Gray.Seems a sensible fit to me- and if he scored at the weekend he sounds sharp enough to play straight away. Not seen him play but he seems to know where the net is. You'd have to include Dyer, unfortunately, as the fourth wide player.
Clever Fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Either way we need a quick decision as time is running out with the deadline approaching.
desertfox2 Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 You'd have to include Dyer, unfortunately, as the fourth wide player. Is anyone else surprised how poor Dyer has been so far? Was sure he was better than he has been.
lgfualol Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Seems like he'd fit in well here. High pressing, run around forever type of player. Sign him up
Steven Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Is anyone else surprised how poor Dyer has been so far? Was sure he was better than he has been. We may have found out why Swansea let him go out on loan.
desertfox2 Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 We may have found out why Swansea let him go out on loan. Had occurred to me but then Huth turned out well free kicks aside
weller54 Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Shame that there was no music on the video. I had to play a random song on Spotify when watching it to make it seem more real. 'Staying Fat ' by Bloc Party?
Thracian Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 You'd have to include Dyer, unfortunately, as the fourth wide player. He honestly didn't enter my head - not that I see any chance of his making our team again.
Grey Fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Some decent skills from him in this video: That goal against Napoli (who are top of the league) @ 4 mins 22 is great work.
st albans fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 I'll make a prediction that this won't happen If we sign someone it will be a leak that a fee is agreed. Hence the deal is pretty well done. This negotiating in public never works out for us and we tend to get used to inflate the fee on behalf of the seller.
holyfox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Wish this damn transfer window would close so I can get on with some work without checking on here every five minutes!!!

st albans fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Inler Amartey, Kante they worked out even Ulloa Amartey was a done deal last summer but the work permit issue snagged it. Came back this month with an announcement that a deal was done. Kante was a deal where the selling club accepted our offer but the player stalled over whether he wanted to come to us. Inler - same as kante Ulloa - embarrassing month of nonsense. Don't think anyone else was interested in the player so it didn't matter. We managed to inflate the price ourselves by offering a penny more each day! the common denominator here is the player wanting to come to us. As I understand it, Eder would prefer to go to inter. We need a player and we cannot sit around waiting for him to decide. Move on to someone that wants to come here. Only a week left and we need to give the selling club time to get a replacement in.
dannythefox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 I hate the unknown why couldn't we just go for Remy on loan or a prem striker that we know will score a few the blokes only scored 40 in nearly 4 seasons in a shit league.

What the fcuk do we know? Leave it to our scouts. They've done ok so far?!
dannythefox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 What the fcuk do we know? Leave it to our scouts. They've done ok so far?! I agree it's just a big gamble when we really need someone who is going to make an impact straight away its a lot of pressure on the player.
