lgfualol Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Hope its on loan. Unless it is a short contract.
JJS84 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Yeah take him if he turns out to be the one, of the lot mentioned he's the one that knows the league and has scored in this league. Probably only needs to score 5-6 goals to help out anything above that will be an excellent return.
JerryLundegaard Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'd be thrilled if we get Remy. The track record in the Prem is the thing - we need someone to hit the ground running if we are to achieve success now, and I think Remy can do that. I was impressed with him when he came on against us earlier this season, certainly played better than Costa. And after all if Chelsea thought he was good enough to sign (granted it's a poor Chelsea team), then I say why not?
Fox 4 Life Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 At least he's 29, was worried for a minute there
thybluefox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 If we're wanting to have someone score some goals this season, Remy has a better chance of that than Niang/Musa/Eder.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Deal close http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/639315/Loic-Remy-transfer-news-latest-Leicester-City
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Wouldn't mind him coming, if the deal occurs.
(.) (.) Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 He's a cracking player. Better than Leo and the smiler. Would be thrilled to get him.
DanTheFox07 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Ben Jacob's is reporting this is a done deal on twitter 11.5 million, Chelsea rubbing there hand's together here! more of a case of missing out on other target's. I am not convinced by Remy, hopefully he will prove me wrong?
lgfualol Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Good thing is that we dont have to wait and see if he settles in a new league Still a lot of £
st albans fox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Still have the thing about an injury in the back of my mind. Was rumoured that he failed a medical at Liverpool before he joined Chelsea. His scoring record is 22 in the last 50 odd PL games. He was fairly prolific at Newcastle but I wonder how long it would take him to attain the kind of match fitness we demand here
oxford blue Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Deal close http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/639315/Loic-Remy-transfer-news-latest-Leicester-City The story originates from the Mirror - not sure I can believe it. I'm not impressed with him either as he's too inconsistent and if bought from Chelsea his wages are likely be very high
teblin Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Good player, would've been my choice from the offset.
RedSoxUK Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 No doubt about it Remy improves the squad, thought he was a very good player last season, and the two before. Not a lot has changed this season Chelsea on a whole have looked sub par; still, Remy is a Chelsea player and not a name or player we should be sighing to. Would prefer him on loan with an option to buy, but can't really go wrong with something along the line of 8m, he's a well-known player these days, has a lot of foreign market value if we were to sell in say 2 years time.
CosbehFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Underwhelming. Given his injury record, I'd have only taken a loan but shell out £11.5 million is idiotic. I have to question the long term effects of spending out that amount.
MikeyT Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Ben Jacobs @JacobsBen 15m15 minutes ago #LCFC's accepted offer for Remy, incidentally, will be a club record. City tried initially for a loan with option to buy... Ben Jacobs @JacobsBen 23m23 minutes ago Loic Remy to #LCFC. Sorry Newcastle fans.
simon789us Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Musa seems to be on as well surely we won't be having 2 strikers
car1os Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Would have been my choice from the offset too as he'll hopefully hit the ground running (providing the injury isnt too serious). Would have preferred a loan, think we could do with a younger striker joining us soon, theres a lot of 30th birthdays coming up for our current crop of strikers!!
sphericalfox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 is likely to play the wing as an an out and out striker up with Vardy?
MikeyT Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Ben Jacobs @JacobsBen 18m18 minutes ago However, it seems to get Remy they had to offer all the cash now. 11.5m is the price I am quoted.

I have to question the long term effects of spending out that amount. Loan to buy would be ideal, but again, I wouldn't be too fussed over a 8 - 12m fee, an established Premier League goalscorer, part of the Chelsea team that won the league, made Newcastle look good, plays and has played for France, at an okay age.
whoareyaaa Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Would be a good signing better than bring in some forgien player an expecting him to light it up for a hefty sum. The price is a tad high 8m would be more reasonable but whats 3m to our owners **** all so its not too bad.
