First option is go to the game, it's pretty HD in real life. Second is probably go to any bar or friends house showing the game. Third would be to get a subscription to a channel showing the game. The last option, and you will hate this, turn your notifications off and deal with it not being HD.

you do realise it's impossible to get tickets for games, right?

I have ways to watch games but if the stream drops out and stops like they do it becomes very frustrating

I don't mind if it is HD or not as I watch on my laptop PC. My TV is HD enabled but never noticed any difference. The only time I get a time lapse is if I have the radio on at the same time and why would I do that if there is English commentary?

Only a slight annoyance for me (I never have any chance of getting a ticket), but I play football on sundays, so now I have the choice of either play football, or watch football every week.

Goodbye cardio :(

Howcome? It's the same shit every time from certain posters. Sky created football in their eyes.

And its the same shit from you too Dan, Sky created football, I've been following City since 1969. Put your dummy back in, stop talking bollocks and realise this is down to our amazing form and title challenge! Sky have done amazing things financually for our Premier league, yes there will always be inconvenience and some affected badly, that's life! I knew what I was signing up for with my season tickets and have for many many years! Why all the fkn moaning when we're having the season we are. Some are never bloody satisfied!

don't really like watching games where I know who scored 2 mins before I'm watching it on a stream. Always get notifications telling me plus I prefer HD

Most streams or sites I use are maybe a few seconds behind, but never as much as two entire minutes. There's enough options to choose from on the web, so either you ask around (on here via PM) or you ought to browse se net more thoroughly.

Besides, you can always get back to watch the replay in HD on one or two of the more well-known online portals.

I'm confused.

You don't go to games but need to get up at 7 to watch them so presumably must live in the States or South America (?), where the moving of Premier League games has no impact on whether they are shown or not.

Can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading here - the West Ham game actually works better for me on a Sunday but I still don't want to see any games moved because people have to work from the starting position of assuming it will be a Saturday 3pm. Obviously that won't be the case every time but it's not an unreasonable starting point that if you buy a season ticket you should get to see at least 11 or 12 3pm Saturday kick offs over the season.

Between the Watford game at the start of November and the end of the season we'll have had 12 home league games and only 3 (Bournemouth, Stoke, Norwich) at 3pm on a Saturday.

Yes I live on the west coast of America, moved here in Dec 1973. The last in person match I went to was Leeds vs Leicester at home that same year, I was in the spoin kop. Soccer in America developed slower than a snails pace as such I didn't get to see a city game until around 2004. Tv coverage was sporadic when they were in the Championship seems only the important games were telecast. Since we've been in the Premiere league NBC Sports has telecast every one of their games but not on their main channel which is reserved for the top 4 teams. Now that Leicester is a top 4 team they'll be shown on the main channel albeit at 5:30am in April which will be my small sacrifice maybe not as much a sacrifice as you'll have to make but then again your reward is a live in person Leicester City match with thousands of fellow supporters in a highly charged atmosphere, something I sadly will probably not be able to experience again in my lifetime. I envy you.

Not read all of this thread, but just checked the remaining fixtures & noticed that whilst we have an April of Sundays, Aresenal & Citeh also play a couple of Sundays but Spurs have Saturday (Liverpool away), Sunday (Man U home) then 3 consecutive Monday evenings (Stoke away, WBA home & Chelsea away).

Rather have 5 sunday games than that!

Because us doing well on the pitch means we can't moan about fans being screwed over by fixture changes? Do you realise how utterly stupid that is?

Frankly this works well for me, because I didn't have the money for a season ticket this time last year and tickets are as rare as hens teeth now, but that doesn't mean that this is fine: sunderland is practically impossible for those without a car now, they've either got to stay over night or miss the first half, while anyone who works Sunday's is shit out of luck. Given chelsea and Everton will almost certainly be moved (Claudio's return to the bridge and us in a title race), it's likely that Palace on the 19th will be the last Saturday 3pm game - great for those who can't go for whatever reason, but dreadful for those who go regularly and bank on it being Saturday afternoon most of the time.

feel so bad for you, you get to go to games that non season ticket holders can't because there are no tickets available...my heart bleeds it really does

Fact is would you rather be where we were last year with games always on a Saturday or contending for a title?

If we are to stay a title contender I would get used to it...it's how things work at the top

Is it frustrating for people who have season tickets? Sure but it's what always happens

I've been a season ticket holder since the ground opened so I guess I'm in a privileged position but the ground hasn't always been at full capacity and there have been plenty of opportunities to buy a season ticket prior to the last two seasons.

I do get all of that Doc but all the bitching, moaning and protesting will not alter this particular issue!

there wasn't this year as I and quite a few others couldn't get any and I can't see it changing anytime soon now.

Even for a one off game you can't seem to get them

Buy a silver membership and get guaranteed home tickets?

For me I love the fact that we're live so much in the coming months.

I don't have a season ticket anymore so when we are on the tele its a massive bonus but I can completely understand why season ticket holders would be annoyed.

Although I think given the option of either having a season ticket or watching us live on Sky everyweek then I would choose a season ticket everyday of the week.

absolute joke, they simply do not care about supporters! Not only sky but West Ham vs Sunderland yesterday was put on as an early kick off for BT, do they not think about the away supporters and how far they have to travel!

Union FS tried at Arsenal away to try and show their anger, and I think we need to try something again as otherwise it's going to keep getting worse

Just watching Man Utd v Arsenal now. I'd rather watch that than nothing or a match involving two mid table teams. The big games need to be on tv and as we are top of the table then all of our games are big, especially when involving teams in relegation battles.

Pretty sure no one's denied that, just that matchgoing supporters should be borne in mind too when the timings are decided.

People have by saying how bad it is that Sky want to show the team at the top of the table on tv. There are only two slots usually available on a Sunday so there isn't much choice. For the Sunderland match, Spurs v Man Utd is the later game so we would have less to travel, not that it would have been taken into account though i'm sure.

They have Saturday and Monday slots they could use to better spread the pan across more fans rather than affecting the same ones
