shen Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Amartey looks a bit raw still. But that's not going to change unless he plays games... He's not really impressed has he? Not great on the ball, a couple of poor decisions and not physically imposing. Then again, no-one has been very impressive.

Otherwise Gray would have been a nice option.

Their deep CBs seem to be leaving us little space, and their crowded midfield is fairly effective, and their attempting to counter, with some success. Going to be something we're going to have to deal with these next matches. We've got Gray and Schlupp on the bench at least to inject a little spark. Wonder how Ranieri's tactics will change.

Need to find a way through. Yep. Sadly I don't think you can, nor deserve, to win a league without being able to answer questions like this. Still there are 45 more minutes yet. We own midfield as basically they have a deep back 5, screened by 2 and then 3 up front. Riyad looks off form to me, maybe pissed off by CR's comments this week? He's drifting too far inside too. Albrighton is a little one dimensional but really grafting. Expect Gray to come on for him at some point, maybe Leo as well for some more in the box presence. Just need some tweaks and tactical nous from CR at half time

If there's anyone that is wasting time it is us. How slow are we passing the ball or even taking a throw in? That free kick at the end of the half summed it up.
