Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 How can one player being off his tits completely alter a game involving 21 other men? We know it'll be us. It always is.
bovril Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 How can one player being off his tits completely alter a game involving 21 other men? We know it'll be us. It always is. Basically what you're asking is can doping effect results. To which the answer is yes, which is why it's prevalent in most professional sports leagues.
The Doctor Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 I can see Arsenal, Chelsea and Birmingham. Is the other Leicester? Looks like it begins with an 'S'. So.. er... Salisbury City? Looks like an L: Interesting to see the doctor in question is apparently a habitual liar and the sunday times have tried to frame sportsman for doping before: http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/14385350.Doug_Gillon__Sunday_Times_journalists__attempt_to_entrap_Swedish_athlete_is_disturbing/s/?ref=twtrec Seriously suspect claims and I'd be more inclined to trust those administering tests than some harley street doctor with no evidence to back up his claims.
reynard Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 The club ought to make a statement asap. It definitely says us.
johnny the fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/arsenal-chelsea-leicester-named-sunday-times-doping-scandal/? oh shight..
Freesolo Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Its complete bullshit if you pass the tests you are clean, why would some doctor come out and admit to being in a massive drug ring he will be written off
Bert Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 These people wanna be careful who they accuse, libel and all that.
StanSP Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 SportingIntelligence on Twitter is bang on. Reportedly 150 starts doped and it's only just coming out now? Yet still no names are mentioned and no dates are given?
Vacamion Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Come on don't tell me you thought it was going to be straightforward from here on in?! Grab another beer and embrace the chaos.... Remember last year when we were all feeling good about having stayed up and the players set off for a well deserved break th Thailand, and reports started coming in... Well it feels like that. I really need to let go and embrace the chaos.
CosbehFox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Get the tin hats on. Named on the front page. So there's gotta be some strong evidence.
Livid Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Elephant in the room on here, previous thread has disappeared/been pulled I think.
foxfanazer Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Have you seen and heard the doctor this is all coming from? I call bullshit
StanSP Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/arsenal-chelsea-leicester-named-sunday-times-doping-scandal/? oh shight.. Elephant in the room on here, previous thread has disappeared/been pulled I think. Nope. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/105337-sunday-times-to-reveal-doping-scandal/
reynard Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 These people wanna be careful who they accuse, libel and all that. Trouble is damage is already done. The club's reputation is very much at stake even if this is complete rubbish. Players being named now on twitter even if just guess work needs to be refuted.
Swarles Barkley Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Haven't the Leicester players already been tested for doping? (Sure there was a thread on this a month ago)
BlueBoy1 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Apparently not naming names. Without corroborating evidence who's to say this is 100% true. Plus, surely can't be punished if there are no names mentioned. Hopefully clear our names asapnas this could unsettle us badly!
Strokes Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/arsenal-chelsea-leicester-named-sunday-times-doping-scandal/? oh shight.. If he has named clubs vaguely and refusing to name individuals, I would expect the clubs to take him to court. Unless............
Livid Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Elephant in the room on here, previous thread has disappeared/been pulled I think. I take that back just didn't look hard enough.
sphericalfox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 No way Kante is on anything. if it's from between 2001 - 2007, we'll just show them those season's tables. Job done.
Livid Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 If he has named clubs vaguely and refusing to name individuals, I would expect the clubs to take him to court. Unless............ That's the tester isn't it. Don't sue and the mud sticks.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Look at the general Sports thread for more. The ST report is very flimsy based on one doctor saying he had treated 150+ sports men/women. Mentions he had treated football players from Arsenal Chelsea us and Birmingham City in years gone by. No corroboration of his story which the said doctor says were for medical conditions and absolutely no systemic claims of doping whatsoever.
