dedlock Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 More journalist twaddle? If it's not then there has to be serious consequences.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Bournemouth. They run for days and most of them aren't top athletes. Simon Francis doing 14-15k a game? Yeah, right.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 If there is 150 players involved, I assume there is some sort of link between them that helps the Times establish this... It also suggests it's not necessarily club based. I wonder if Remy could be one of them... And that's what caused his failed transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool, only to be picked up by Chelsea?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Players are randomly and regularly drug tested, anything of any substance would surely have broken already. Smacks of a journalist looking for the sensational story. Leicester are doing well they must be doping bollox I feel.
johnny the fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 I'm gonna take a wild guess it's not Villa. your wrong..villa players have been on mogadon all season..

I doesn't say there are 150 players involved, this is how this shite gains traction, mainly from people not reading things properly.
st albans fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Will it proper performance enhancing stuff or recreational ? I'm sure plenty of wealthy young footballers indulge in things they really shouldn't.

Bryn Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Almost certainly foreign imports. That sounds really xenophobic but doping in UK athletes is so rare. I don't think there is a doping culture in English football and find it more likely that it's players who were doping abroad then we're brought into this country.
fazzyfox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Our players will test positive for beer and doughnuts tomorrow.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 It's Villa; they've been playing stoned all season.
kyleolly Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 It'll be some u21 players who went out with jack grealish and Saido berahino during the international break
surrifox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Will piss myself with laughter if it's arsenal.Agree - please be those tw@ts
LcFc_Smiv Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Our sports science department is made up of some of the most genuine and professional people in the industry. Won't be anywhere near us.
ousefox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 If it was anyone big it would have been leaked by now. Might even be a performance enhancing drug that isn't banned currently.
AjcW Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 To one of the comments above, it'll be blood doping not a drug as such so therefore won't be something picked up in a test. It's widespread all over sport and for now not considered illegal so I'd imagine the times are only looking to change that not destroy someone. I could of course be very wrong but that would make sense to me
kingfox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 That's us getting points deducted then, those bloody Magic Mushrooms.
ScouseFox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 this will be a lot less exciting than people think. ie. PREMIER LEAGUE STARS RACIST ORGY which was actually some leicester reserves having sex with a prostitute.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 If it's the Sunday Times, then it must be serious business.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Algeria had some doping issues a few months back
smudger63 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Well I`ve not read the whole article because i`m not going to subscribe in order to view all of it, but this is the bit that i can see says. "The study examined more than 4,000 urine tests from professional players competing in the Champions League and Europa League, Europe’s top club competitions, and two European Championships between 2008 and 2013. It found 7.7% of the 879 players recorded drug tests so abnormal that they would trigger an investigation under new Uefa rules brought in this month." If you look at the dates and competitions mentioned, we are not going to be involved.
richardsfoxes Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Aparently it's alot of villa players from a BBC reporter.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Aparently it's alot of villa players from a BBC reporter. If it's villa then it must be recreational drugs with the way they have been playing
richardsfoxes Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Click on the link he goes into a bit more detail of what he's seen so far.
