The Guvnor Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Fantastic result yet I find myself still being annoyed at the Spurs result and even more so at that cock juggling thundercunt that is Souness. Don't quite understand Sourness and his bizarre analysis,it really is embarrasing, even his fellow pundit's smirk at his comments,he either objects to a team outside the so called 'big teams' running away with the title or he is a clueless twat.

We'll have won the league title more recently than his beloved Liverpool. He's probably just bitter that Ulloa will have won more league titles than Steven Gerrard.
Bunyip Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I was looking forward to reading this post . Only to have it spoiled by petty little infighting and point scoring by a few know it all individuals . For christ sake knock it on the head will you and lets get back enjoying the result .
STUHILL Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Spurs winning put me in a much worse mood than I should have been, considering we won today. Just thought Man U would help us out but to lose 3-0 really pissed me off and keeps the pressure on, which is pretty unbearable. Hate pundits and fans of other clubs saying we have done it, as if we lose next weekend and Spurs win, you bet they will all be saying how we are choking etc.. Just wish Spurs would have lost and I could breathe a little easier for a week but nope! Football is never that kind. 7 point gap with 5 to play is still great but when you are so close, you can't help your mind working overtime

No-one should assume we have the title until it's certain. I agree, all these pundits (all sacked or failed managers) make me sick. My late father always told me if a team scores 3 in the first half, the other team could score 4 in the second half. It's not over until it's over and tottingham's goal difference is haunting me. If we lose it to that hateful team it will completely ruin a fantastic season for me.
Corky Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Those Champions scarves were from two years ago, could just make out a 14 when one was holding it up.

Rialto 290352 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I'm a Scot and have supported Leicester since 1964 when living in Loughborough. I have no time for Souness either as a pundit but there is no need for the ----Jock crap. Its racist. Lots of Scots here want City to win, He is an individual and does not represent a whole race of people or would you like all of England to be judged by the views of one irritating English pundit??

weller54 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Just need Chelsea to beat the spuds.. Which is definitely on the cards! Then they can only get a maximum of 77 points... Meaning we need just 6 more points.. 2 wins.. Swansea and Everton 1 win and 3 draws.. Let the Deluded spuds fans mouth off all they want!..

Mikey Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Just got home. Class day all round really. Spurs winning is shit but we're in a better position than we were when we left for the game at 6:30 this morning so it's all good. Thought we definitely deserved the win today. They fought and grafted as you'd expect from one of Big Sam's teams but apart from that horrible miss from Rodwell, didn't really create anything else of note. A second goal for us was inevitable once they started pushing forward, thought we handled the game really well second half. Thought the fans weren't great first half but picked us second half. Obviously better when we got the goals, and great scenes at the end as well! Class time to be a Leicester fan.
shen Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I'm astounded at how good this team is, and has been all season, at adapting to every possible situation and apart from a handful of times ending up executing their game plan to perfection. Today, the first half wasn't pretty. I was nervous because Sunderland were actually on top and bossing things. We kept throwing the ball away and were disrupted time and again. A lot of credit should go to Sunderland for this, while our players struggled to cope with it. Still, everybody to a man was putting their body on the line and fighting for every ball. Sheer determination and it proved just about enough to keep Sunderland away from our goal. We started the second half badly as well and I feared we would be fighting all the way to avoid defeat, but once again they prove me wrong and pop up with a very simple but ultimately brilliant piece of play to put us one up. And this is were I'm in awe. Not only did we try to go for a second goal, but we absolutely choked Sunderland and didn't give them an inch, bar that accidental opening for Rodwell. In the final ten minutes we closed the game out so, so well that I wasn't even nervous that we'd hold on. We've played some breathtaking stuff earlier in the season with Vardy and Mahrez in particular shining, but we've managed to adapt in a way that very few thought we were able to do. Our defense, wrongly identified as a weak link by experts with half a season gone, has been as good as I have ever seen a football team perform. The level of consistency, application and focus to do this every single game is astonishing. And yet, the manager and the squad (and fans) are still looking at ways this team can improve. The desire and professionalism is exemplary and we are so very lucky to witness this.It doesn't matter that Mahrez and Okazaki didn't have great games, because it's always been about the team and it shows on the pitch. I've done nothing but support this team from afar, but my word have they made me proud. Are you gonna believe us? You bet they are!
Izzy Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 What did sourness say ?? On the lines of....we're not pleasing on the eye, if Bayern, Madrid etc. are watching then we're not a good representation of PL footbal, we're predictable, all we have is the long ball over the top to Vardy etc, etc. Basically he couldn't bring himself to acknowledge we are top on merit. But HPF says we're not allowed to be bitter....

Or they could lose to Stoke, we can beat West Ham and Swansea and get it over with before it gets into crippling anxiety territory. Please.

Strangely I'm loving the 1-0 wins etc... Little or no anxiety At this stage as a gambler and odd compiler I'm very very sure we win this league Infact I have no doubts
