fazzyfox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 John Stones exists solely to create a situation where fat Mancunians waddle around with "24 Stones" on the back of their shirts and don't see the irony in it.
smr Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 everytime mendys names mentioned i keep thinkin of ours haha

Carl the Llama Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Monaco are dominating, tie's as good as over unless Pep can fire this lot up somehow.

Mezeker Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 i'm pretty sure bar sane playing today Guardiola would exchange all his players for entirety of monaco's team if he could.

smr Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 the atmosphere sounds like a sunday league game after the noise we made last night
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Man City, think about the coefficients what a disgrace!

Don't disregard potential injuries and/or suspensions. And daily form. A lot can still happen in the space of four weeks. I see how dangerous Monaco are on the attack (defensive midfielders included), but the same cannot be said about their defensive setup. Intriguing tie nonetheless.
Chester Dontlie Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I want Monaco to win this so we can whip them in the quarter-finals

Finnegan Posted 15 March 2017 Author Posted 15 March 2017 22 minutes ago, Mezeker said: They have too much pace and physicality, we won't cope with Monaco if they overload us. Morgan and Huth will really struggle when their midfield and fullbacks win any individual duel. I really don't want them. But the point is that we're also fast and strong and we'll be right up in their faces in their own half from the first whistle. Nobody else in this competition plays quite like we did against Sevilla, against possibly Atletico, and that's a strength in and of itself. I don't think Buffon was being patronising saying they don't want us, I think he meant it. Not because he thinks we're the best team left in but because we're horrible to play against when we're confident. We're nasty, niggly and aggressive but we're not big, thick and slow with it. We're hectic, ferocious and fast. That's a lot for a young, inexperienced squad to cope with. Man City are the perfect team for this Monaco team to play, we'd be the antithesis of that. No way we'd be favourites but no way they're harder for us to beat than the Spanish three or Bayern either.

Webbo Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Man City are shit. At this rate we'll be England's only representative in the Champs league. As an aside. If we drew Barcelona, how big would our allocation be?
Koke Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I want the easiest draw possible. So on that basis Dortmund Monaco Atletico Madrid Real Madrid Juventus Bayern Munich Barcelona The last 2 are interchangeable. No matter who we face it will be super hard. When Dortmund are the so called "easiest" draw you know we are mixing with elite clubs.
Jattdogg Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Lots of time left for man shitty but we may be the lone english club left. What an embarassment to the so called 'big' clubs if so.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Not sure why every pundit jumps to defend Stones when the reality is he's a poor defender who is only consistent in making costly mistakes. Theres plenty more young English defenders who I rate higher than him.

Sterling has little to no intelligence, he only thrives when u tell him to drive past somebody and put a simple ball in. If you look at the 2nd goal, what type of human being, not footballer can't access that letting Fabinho be goal side of him with a huge gap in the box is fatal?
