Izzy Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 What a brilliant through ball that was by De Bryan. And then they fvcked it right up Can't wait to hear Peps interview after this if they don't go through. Wouldn't surprise me if he pisses off at the end of the season. He doesn't look like he's enjoying himself at Man City to me...
st albans fox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Monaco running out of steam as they did in Manchester.
Russell sprout Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 To think if we got Monaco we would get roughly 1400 tickets for a quarter final at there place, only holds 18000 edit:900 I mean
FireFox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Monaco running out of steam as they did in Manchester. They need to keep some possession, slow down the play, maybe make a change to do that.
Carl the Llama Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Man City playing better this half, still don't fancy them to get anything out of this.
yorkie1999 Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Hope we get Monaco, we could beat them they all look knackered

Finnegan Posted 15 March 2017 Author Posted 15 March 2017 We've all been watching Real Madrid for decades, you don't need to be some kind of football genius scout to spot the fact they're winners. There've been endless upstart teams with bags of energy that have turned up expecting to beat Real and Madrid usually pull through. They draw each other in the next round and Real will be comprehensive favourites. Napoli probably a more complete side than Monaco from back to front. They play with loads of energy and pace and skill. Madrid made them look ordinary in the end. I mean, are you watching this? Man City should be 3-2 up. For as much as Monaco have a few cracking attackers and two good wing backs, they're going to leak goals everywhere.

I will say that i don;t think Napoli have the ability to win the individual duels at the rate Monaco can.

Well no, we probably won't see because unless Monaco pull off a blinder here or find some players with a bit of steel and some extra fitness, they're quite possibly going to go out to a Man City side that are playing about as poorly as they did when we beat them 3-1. This is all City now.

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Monaco have been slowly deflating all this half. Energy levels no longer there.
AKCJ Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Just now, Finnegan said: Pardon? When I posted that Ageruo had missed a 1 on 1 and a Leroy Sane pullback. My stream is well behind though. Still no goal, even the BBC Sport app has updated quicker.

Finnegan Posted 15 March 2017 Author Posted 15 March 2017 Just now, Mezeker said: Ima hit you will a another Pardon before the end of the game, patience. Look, I desperately want Monaco to win. I'm really impressed with them and I agree that Lemar, Mbappe, Mendy, Silva and Sidibe are going to wind up at big, big clubs. But you've gone wildly overboard with some of your praise. They are far from the finished article and I reiterate this is a very, very average Man City team that have put six goals by them.
filbertway Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Shame Monaco went all pathetic after their second and stopped trying to score. Hopefully they can switch it back on.
Corky Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Man City have been much better in that second half, another one and the tie is theirs. Monaco have lost their threat but I think Man City will still go for the second which could leave gaps.
Izzy Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Well at least Sterling will now miss our quarter final against them.
