tcrofts Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 Liverpool played 61 competitive games, 15 of them in Europe. What happened is they tried to fight on 4 fronts and came up with nothing. 2 cup finals and they went out of the FA cup in the 121' in a month they were playing twice a week every week as they were fighting on 4 fronts in 1 month. I can't see Rodgers getting them to the Europa League final and the adage is a European campaign sacrifices 10 points in the league. They likely would have finished higher and maybe even challenged for 4th had they just ****ed off in Europe. Joint 1st for us next season then! Let's hope our goal difference is better
Mezeker Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 so apparently Rashford just sign a new contract for 20k a week, i think his contribution on the pitch and his stature at this point is worth more than that and this kid Chilwell won't take 18k sigh.

mozartfox Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 They sayin 7 mil for this **** now, deal close apparently. Who is saying what ? The Daily Star?
Ric Flair Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 If it's £7 million with add ons and a sell on clause then fcuk him off as I'm getting bored of this. Rico Henry has a far better name anyway.
mozartfox Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 A lesson learnt. Never loan out anyone to Huddersfield ever again.
Ric Flair Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 A lesson learnt. Never loan out anyone to Huddersfield ever again. Haha and maybe give him the odd sub appearance when 2+ goals up but we never did. Not helped matters has it? Chicken and egg I kno, had he signed a new deal I'm sure Ranieri would have given him a bit of playing time but you sense it was punishment for being a greedy coont.
Countryfox Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 He doesn't want to be here so why don't we let the greedy little t&sser go and move on.
dylanlegend Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 To be fair who can blame him? Look at the latest England squad- full of Liverpool players who have had a terrible season- if you start for Liverpool automatic England pick. Yet our Premier League winning side- 4 English starters, only 1 in the squad. If Chilwell goes to Liverpool and plays a few games he will be in the England team this time next year, if he stays here he will have to play his heart out to even be considered.

No sorry he's already in the England team .... been offered a good wage (make that fantastic fookin wage !!), is playing for the Premier League Champions, will definitely get game time next season, and is understudy to a European captain who is likely to be leaving us after 1 or 2 more seasons. Nope ... greedy little **** in my book.

Now that will be a tricky situation for the FA to be in, we best inform them and they might block the deal Who do they pick... Shaw at Y'anited Rose at Spuds Chillwell at Scouse The FA will be bitterly disappointed to know an English player from one of these clubs will miss out

In the lower leagues you play two games a week, every week, for an entire season. These are professional players with the very best sports science teams around them, they should be more than capable of playing two games a week. Not to metion that teams in the past did it, teams won trebles in 90s and they wouldn't have had the sports science research we have now to keep them fit. As for Chilwell to Liverpool. He can go if he likes, but he wont be playing very much.
les-tah Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Are we all in agreement that If he leaves we hope he fails miserably like Joe mattock?? Id personally keep him until his contract runs out and let him rot in under 21s. Bitter bitter me
thybluefox Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Watch him sign a new contract and then be everyones favourite wonder kid again.
les-tah Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Watch him sign a new contract and then be everyones favourite wonder kid again. Yes correct. But in my opinion he's the second coming of Satan until then
RedSoxUK Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I'd still up his contract, we've just won the league ffs and he's contributed this season and done enough to suggest he can be a part of the future as a home grown maybe.. maybe England future prospect, a few more K a week or miss out, easy decision for me, offer him more money.
AKCJ Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 7m for someone who has never played a league game for us if fecking good going. Let him leave. He'll only sit behind another left back for Liverpool. That's the Liverpool side that isn't in Europe next season so will have fewer games where they're likely to rotate.
