Aus Fox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Just read Sunderland have only 5 players in their whole squad who have scored a goal this season. Take away Defoe and it's only 4 players contributing a combined 6 goals for the season so far. Evan Boro have had 10 different scorers. Shocking even for a poor side.

They sold their joint second highest goalscorer in January too. So now Van Aarnholt has gone Anichebe is the only player other than Defoe with more than 1 goal.

I know they aren't the worse side ever in the Prem in terms of points, but they really are an awful team. I'm surprised at Moyes. For some reason (wrongly) I thought he'd do better than this.

I thought if nothing else he'd make them solid, but they are the epitamy of a team nailed on to go down, concede to many and don't score enough. If you can't keep them out try and score lots, and visa versa, but Moyes has constantly played a negative team with 5 or 6 defenders and still struggled to keep it tight. So you'd think he'd try and add the likes of Khazri to the line up to spark something going forward but he hasn't.

Sharpe's Fox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Watching Mourihno on Jeff and the boys. Seems like a right miserable bastard. Really is yesterdays man in management now, he's so mid noughties. (one Nigel Pearson )
Aus Fox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Wouldn't mind seeing Bournemouth get twatted today by Spurs.
Koke Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Apparently there a rumour in Stoke that they will fire Hughes in the summer and appoint Ranieri. Weird how Stoke fans don't want Ranieri. I bet half of them were calling us a disgrace 6 weeks ago. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/267295/rumour-ranieri-sounded-out

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Spurs are great, must be really frustrating being this good and never winning anything.

J.Lisemore Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Spurs have been good but Bournemouth have looked like a pub team from minute 1.
Tuna Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 I absolutely love the way spurs sweep teams aside with consummate ease and ruthless efficiency. Looking forward to the culmination of the traditional bottle job at the KP in May. In all seriousness, if they hadn't drawn so many matches in the first few months of the season, they'd be winning this thing.

I had hoped the np guys had defected to derby... not still biding their time here I liked part of what Pearson did................ I liked what Claudio and the Team did last season better. I agree wholeheartedly with you.............. Move On

When they are on it they can sweep a team aside. When it's not quite clicking or a teams making it difficult, they can't turn a tight game from a draw to a win. It's ok winning 4-0, but if you follow it with a draw or two it doesn't get you very far. Would rather win three games 1-0 than a big win followed by a draw and a defeat. It's exactly why we beat them to the title last year and will be why Chelsea do this year.
Chico1958 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Whether we like it or not Spurs putting the pressure on The Little French Guy and Chelsea. Making tomorrow a little more interesting.......... Yes I hope we do them and that finishes their challenge
UPinCarolina Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Spurs are fun to watch. Devastating on the attack.
