Leicesterpool Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Credit to Clough wise decision, Burton are already beating the odds why leave them for a club in a mess that's likely heading down.
NewEnglandFox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I hoped Clough would finish the season at Burton and he will.
ScouseFox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 bristol city activating the release clause in bristol rovers' best player matty taylor's contract. oooooooooo yaaaa. 300k as well not sure why the whole of the football league ain't activating that bad boy.

That certainly perked up transfer deadline day here in Bristol... it could get even better though if City and Rovers were to swap divisions (not an impossibility).
Tuna Posted 2 February 2017 Posted 2 February 2017 Brighton being outclassed by Huddersfield, that capitulation against Lincoln in the cup could be more damaging than you think.
TheSomersetFox Posted 2 February 2017 Posted 2 February 2017 This is one of the best performances from a Championship team i've seen from Huddersfield, Brighton going down to 10 has helped but they've looked class all game.
Tuna Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Great that it's been picked up thus avoiding a potential tradgedy. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38868227
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Can't those jammy pricks liquidate already
MC Prussian Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Leeds equalize through Chris Wood in the derby away at Huddersfield.

Tuna Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Brighton beginning their traditional new year bottle job. Now losing 2-0 to Brentford.

Guest FriendlyRam Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Wagner did exactly the same when they scored against us late on to win it. I don't begrudge him celebrating, his team has just scored a late winner ffs, and its nice because its Leeds . His players quickly had his back though which shows how much they want to play for him, which should be a massive positive if your a Huddersfield board member.
Fox92 Posted 6 February 2017 Author Posted 6 February 2017 Tbf it was one of the biggest West Yorkshire Derbies in years.

I hate the idea that people in sport have to be overly professional robots. I think Mourinho is an embarrassment to himself and whatever club he's at but I'd rather he express himself, even when I think he's a pratt, than just sit there spouting generic footballisms like Rob Kelly. Give me "you must be an ostrich" over "we've learned some lessons" and "good group of lads" any day.
NewEnglandFox Posted 7 February 2017 Posted 7 February 2017 I love Monk for doing that. Wagner went 70+ yards to celebrate that goal from technical area to below the goal line. And on the way back Monk stepped in his way with maybe a little hello from his shoulder to remind him he's out of line. Imagine the scenes if it was at Ellend Road.
filbertway Posted 7 February 2017 Posted 7 February 2017 I loved them both for doing that as I badly needed some cards to win a bet. Absolutely no problem with Wagner doing that, great to see something a bit different and doing no harm at all really.

It lacks class. I also hate it when Conte does it, when Mourinho does it and when Klopp does it. By all means celebrate with your players and your coaching staff but there's no need to run past the opposition dug out like that. It's poor form IMO.
