Parafox Posted 23 May 2016 Author Posted 23 May 2016 It was on some websites yesterday before the final, that LVG would be sacked shortly after the FA cup final. It took less than 24 hours for the press to report it today. Won't be official until dismissal terms are settled. Also leaked that Mourinho wants John Stones by next season.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I don't feel at all sorry for LGV. Man Utd have spent a quarter of a billion quid under him and have churned out utter dross in most part. The shame for the rest of us is that Utd will now probably be a good side again.
brockmyster Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Shit manager but still feel for the way he has been treated. Plus he is one step away from full blown retard and amusing. I mean I think he is a tosser and has done an awful job at united but 20 odd trophies states he's not really a shit manager in the overall view of things
m4DD0gg Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I mean I think he is a tosser and has done an awful job at united but 20 odd trophies states he's not really a shit manager in the overall view of things Fair play but definitely not a great premiership manager.
Fox92 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Media have been "Van Gaal out" all year then he's sacked and they're like "ahh we're going to miss him, here's his best bits". Scum.
Finnegan Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Will certainly be the most motivated you'll have ever seen Mourinho.
Koke Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I'll just copy and paste what I said in the Premier League thread. I will miss LVG for his entertainment Horny football Sex masochism Louis van Gaal's ARMY Diving on the touchline against Arsenal Calling Spurs a small club Calling a reporter a fat man. Mike Smalling Drunk at United Christmas party I'm gonna miss this crazy old bastard. I also felt a bit sorry for him. He couldn't even celebrate his FA Cup win as he was bombarded with questions about his future in the post match conference. The way he celebrated Lingard's goal looked like it meant a lot to him. He couldn't even enjoy it for 5 minutes.
AKCJ Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 How many people who are disgusted by this felt the same when Holloway was sacked? He failed on the pitch and the fans didn't like him, that's football. He'll still do well out of the deal financially. It's not that he doesn't deserve to be sacked. But the way they've gone about it is shit.
Corky Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 How many people who are disgusted by this felt the same when Holloway was sacked? He failed on the pitch and the fans didn't like him, that's football. He'll still do well out of the deal financially. That's completely different as news didn't leak of his sacking minutes after he'd won a trophy.
Thracian Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 It'll be interesting to see what happens with Giggs - in some ways now would be the perfect time for someone in his position to take over. I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest Giggs would make a good manager. If he has managerial ambitions he should get some experience at a club where he can develop his skills. Managing and playing for/listening to Fergie are not the same.
Thracian Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 It's not that he doesn't deserve to be sacked. But the way they've gone about it is shit. Couldn't agree more - it was so appallingly bad mannered. I actually think it was also premature. But Mourinho has the perfect chance to prove me wrong.
Leicesterpool Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 The writing has been on the walls for some time, but timing wise it's been appalling 48 hours after lifting the Fa Cup they sack him! Mourhino will be bring some success to Man U short term but long term I'm not sure, Man U need stability more than anything and they won't get that under Mourhino. In a couple of years time Man U will be looking for another manager again.
Samilktray Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 For England's sake let's hope Jose doesn't ruin Rashford
MC Prussian Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Do Manchester United have a sexy female physio, as well? If so, I fear for the worst at Old Trafford...
foxy boxing Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 jose will be there three years tops, can't see him giving youth a chance, mata and fellani will be straight out the door. can definately see jose falling out with the man utd hierachy.be funny if him and ferguson end up at loggerheads.
Wymsey Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Man Utd appear to have some disrespect about them. It's not as if Van Gaal was going to chain himself up at Old Trafford/training ground was it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36367127
Dan Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 I reckon this will all go up in flames. At least one of Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal aren't getting in the top four this season. I reckon Man Utd are one of those.
Danno Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Why grown men are disgusted about how a shit manager has been treated by a club they don't even support is beyond me
Vicki Vixen Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 I am sad to see LVG go. Always looked forward to his interviews. I do think he genuinely believes he has done a good job at Man U. He is about the only person in the world who believes it.
ScouseFox Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 don't think he was treated badly enough really, he is probably the biggest c unt in world football. hopefully he fu cks off forever now.
The Doctor Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 How many people who are disgusted by this felt the same when Holloway was sacked? He failed on the pitch and the fans didn't like him, that's football. He'll still do well out of the deal financially. Holloways sacking wasn't played out in the papers before he actually went, we at least waited for him to be out of his office before inviting his replacement in to measure up the curtains. Van Gaals been sacked in the press and Mourinho getting ready to go there since January, massive difference to Holloway failing, getting sacked and then replaced a couple of weeks later like with most managerial changes.
Leicesterlegend Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 No surprise about the sacking. Handled badly by the club. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
Alf Bentley Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/jose-mourinho-to-manchester-united-chelsea-still-own-rights-to-portuguese-coachs-name-a3256906.html "Jose Mourinho's move to Manchester United could see the Red Devils pay Chelsea a significant sum after it emerged the Blues still own the rights to the 53-year-old's full name. Chelsea first registered 'Jose Mourinho' as a trademark in the UK and EU in 2005 during the Portuguese's first spell in charge of the club while also trademarking his signature a year later. Despite Mourinho leaving Chelsea in 2007, the club continued to own the rights to his name but applied for a second trademark when he returned in 2013. The trademarks mean Chelsea can use Mourinho's name on club merchandise, which ranges from pint glasses, mugs and cups, to toothbrushes, games, toys, party hats, face masks and perfumes". Weird! Man Utd to refer to "the artist formerly known as Jose Mourinho" as per Prince? Chelsea to market a new range of pint glasses, toothbrushes, face masks and perfumes emblazoned with "Jose Mourinho! What a waanker!"?
Tielemans63 Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 At least now he's unemployed LVG can spend more time getting up to the weird sexual activities that he clearly indulges in, in his spare time. His wife won't know what's hit her.......(literally)
Captain... Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Why grown men are disgusted about how a shit manager has been treated by a club they don't even support is beyond me It's called empathy, I can see a fellow human being treated like shit by our press/unscrupulous agents and feel bad for him. The fact he is a manager for another team is irrelevant the way the press just trample over people for a story and don't even consider that this is a human being with feelings and friends and family just trying to do a job (albeit a very well paid job). Appalling treatment from United as a club, that cvnt agent Mendes and the press who lap it all up and ram it down our throats and then jump on the club for behaving disrespectfully.
