Countryfox Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 I don't think it matters with Villa who their next manager is, it is going to be such a massive task getting that club into any sort of state I'd put them at 5000/1 to go up automatically next season I'll have a fiver on that with you Junior.
Lloydwasmylife Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 How about a shock double swoop for Hobbs and Fryatt from Forest?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Excellent for Derby. He'll do a terrific job i am sure
yorkie1999 Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 I hope he gets them up. We need derby games. Bet he signs Knocky and Nuge.
Guest Manini Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Made up for him, and as much as I dislike them, Derby are a fantastic club for him to be managing. They've finally made the right decision after pissing around with McLaren etc. I know opinion of him as a person on here is somewhat divided, but as a football manager, jesus christ he knows what hes doing at that level. He's one of my favourite Leicester managers ever and also one of my hero's despite what anyone says. He'll go down in this club's histroy along with everybodys favourite italian (not me, Ranieri) and rightly so! He took us from the gutter to the big time and I'll always be greateful for that. Good luck Nige!...even if it is with the sheep shaggers
Ralph Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Bit worried now. Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Morgan and Huth might follow him.
daddylonglegs Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Just waiting for someone to say 'get over it he was crap move on' Good luck Nigel
Langston Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 I love yapping to people that are so staunchly anti-Pearson it pains them. Always tarred with the boring / arrogant / dull brush as if what's been happening on the pitch is irrelevant. You'd have thought they'd have learnt from the Allen / Holloway / Sven debacles. Losing every week while Holloway made analogies that the Soccer AM / Sky Sports News banter LADS loved was humiliating.
baylisslcfc Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Bit worried now. Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Morgan and Huth might follow him. Love a good FoxesTalk knee-jerk reaction.
Heymister2015 Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 To take our players/staff Mel Morris would have to sell a few more candy crush saga's
Hitesh Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Great back room combo of Powell and Philips. Can see the likes of De Laet ending up at Derby and maybe a few other fringe players
baylisslcfc Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Never really took to the bloke's personality, but as a manger I can't have many complaints. Best of luck to him, Chris Powell and Super Kev. I have nothing against Derby so I wouldn't mind them coming up.
lgfualol Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Good for him. How long until Derby sack him for not playing "the derby way" like Clement. At least we'll hopefully be treated to some funny media moments.
stix Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Love a good FoxesTalk knee-jerk reaction. You're kidding right?
Koke Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Pearson, Powell and Phillips are a good team and I wish them well. Couple of our fringe players will probably head to Derby now as well. Can definitely see de Laet and Matty James going there. Maybe even Ulloa, who knows.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Good appointment from both angles. He'll do an excellent job there.
Matt Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Happy with that. Don't like or dislike Derby, not bothered either way, they're just another club. It's not Villa that's he's gone to so in my eyes that's a major positive. Good luck to him and fair play to Derby, excellent appointment. *hides and waits for a backlash*
kingfox Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 He will probably lose five games in a row, slip from 1st to 5th then get sacked.
