LCFC FOX Posted 9 July 2016 Posted 9 July 2016 Yeah but we are going to be in the Champions League for the next decade or so. Be it January, next summer or the summer after that we can poach any player from clubs like Burnley at will, even without the Champions League. let's not become arse holes now and think we're massive. We're not. Let's not let one amazing season let us go disrespecting smaller clubs. That's what forest do.
Ric Flair Posted 9 July 2016 Posted 9 July 2016 I've always found constipation hard to express in words and pictures but Burnley are it. They are like a 90 minute nugget.
fuchsntf Posted 9 July 2016 Posted 9 July 2016 Whilst boro are trying to sign subotic off Dortmund for £8mil. Proven Budesliga player with international and champions league experience and still only 27. This makes me sad I support Dortmund in Germany, they have always been my 2nd team. We should be chasing Subotic, he has so much to offer and proven BL and Quality european experience. I am suprised Klopp hasnt been knocking on BvBs door, to sign him ASAP.

Liverpool are for sure woefully short in the CB Department.

Dr The Singh Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Wise words. He is too wise for this forum, ban him!!!

That's what forest do.Think you're taking posters comment to serious .To me it looked like a dig back at the Burnley fan saying we will be out of Champs league by Jan
ARCHER Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Maybe we will be back in the Championship, but you won't be able to offer Keane Champions League football in 2017/18.......I'd put my mortgage on it. Then he will go to a more glamorous club with a rich tradition and successful history like Everton. Always a little bitterness and envy in this gentleman's posts.
mozartfox Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 He is right though. Everton are massive and I look forward to seeing Burnley in CL sometime soon.
PatrykJ14 Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 13:52 LEICESTER PREPARE THIRD KEANE BID Leicester City are planning on making a third and final bid forBurnley defender Michael Keane, according to Sky sources. The Foxes' second offer was for around £11m and we're being told the player wants to move to the King Power this summer.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Also helps when the player (Keane) wants to come here as much as we do.
mozartfox Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Are Sky Sources and the 'Football Agents' Co- Operative Society' one of the same?
jim5000 Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 He's going to be expensive but I read somewhere that the club is aiming to keep a british core to the squad so he looks like a good signing. Only obvious disadvantage of buying British is the known premium that UK players cost over their continental counterparts. And that has only been exaggerated by the new TV deal.
AjcW Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Barca have just signed Lucas ****ing Digne for €13m... that's insane. I know i've bene the one banging on about not taking fees seriously this season but if we go higher than that for keane i'm going to start thinking we should be looking at overseas options.
ARCHER Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 I'd prefer his Japanese cousin Notso Keane Or his brother Wan Keane
MikeyT Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Leicester City are still in talks over a possible £15million deal for Michael Keane. (Source - Telegraph)
Grewks Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 £15 million really isn't a look if you look at a 5+ year deal.
dpjfox Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 keep the squad core English, we obviously want him and he obviously wants to come here.. id be surprised if this doesnt happen
Bunyip Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 He's going to be expensive but I read somewhere that the club is aiming to keep a british core to the squad so he looks like a good signing. So all our signings so far are what British ?
los dedos Posted 14 July 2016 Posted 14 July 2016 So all our signings so far are what British ?He's saying core not all!
Bunyip Posted 14 July 2016 Posted 14 July 2016 He's saying core not all! So by signing all foreign players so far the club is obviously not aiming to keep the core of the squad British is it ? Just goes to show what happens when someone spouts rubbish like this . He's going to be expensive but I read somewhere that the club is aiming to keep a british core to the squad so he looks like a good signing. Read somewhere ?
themightyfin Posted 14 July 2016 Posted 14 July 2016 This is on. Keane will be signing early next week I hear negotiations have been agreed between the clubs and he is keen to come. Talks and medical over the next couple of days.
