foxoffderby Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Surely not. He was poor here. Our win ratio took a hammering once he was introduced into the starting XI Correct. It was when we had that really bad patch in the Championship. Stats proved once Keane was out of the team we improved no end.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 I rated him, until Kermo was decent all over him
lgfualol Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 If we sign him soon he will be our record signing at 10m
sphericalfox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Under the tutelage of Wes, Was, and Huth he could come on leaps and bounds. Gerimin
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Sign this guy and Deeney, keep Vardy - then the new England manager can base the national side on a Leicester spine!

sphericalfox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Sign this guy needs Deeney, keeper Vardy - then the New England manager can base the national side on a Leicester spine! Never heard of em. Roy has been bobbins tbh, not surprised.
sphericalfox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 comsiderintn how important being able to repel the ball for long periods into our game I'd rather we took someone more experienced on not for the first team. A cup player and a backup. Develop him and in a year or two, he'll probably a much better player.
Babylon Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 comsiderintn how important being able to repel the ball for long periods into our game I'd rather we took someone more experienced onWe need some younger players at the back, age wise it's in its last year or two.
TJB-fox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 When he develops in stature and physicality which I believe will come with age, he will be a top centre back and I genuinely think that. When he was here he had the composure and ability to read the ball to go far but got bullied by average championship strikers simply because they got stuck into him and he couldn't deal with the physicality. He was naive and simply young to put it bluntly when he was here but he definitely demonstrated the natural talent to go far. Like I said if he fills out a bit and when he becomes more experienced (and a bit more of that solid no ****ing about centre half streak needed in the PL), I think he'll become a very good centre back. Can't be judged from his time here
Wymsey Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Got Liam Moore anyway. But has sadly declined for whatever reason, despite rave views about him being a future star for seasons to come a couple of years back.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Got Liam Moore anyway. But has sadly declined for whatever reason, despite rave views about him being a future star for seasons to come a couple of years back. Yeah don't know what the situation is with Liam. Can't help but like him, due to the fact he shown potenial in some of the games he played for us, and of course him being a Leicester born lad. In around 2013 he was playing very well, and formed a great partnership at CB with Morgan. In the 2013/14 season he put in some outstanding performances, but in our current two years in the Premier League he just hasn't featured as much. It's that aspect of experience, but he would gain that with game time.
foxes21 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 we should just sell moore so he can move on in his career & put a buy back clause in his contract
foxes161 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 we are heading to the CL....stop looking at freaking championship level players
ALC Fox Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 I'm not sure how young British talent is able to get experience in the Premier League without actually playing games in the Premier League. I know Keane is at a Premier League club now but playing under the experienced tutelage of Claudio is bound to bring his game on somewhat. Our defence was awful the season before last until Pearson changed it by bringing Huth in, and it was awful last season until Claudio and the staff sorted it out. Whatever reservations people have about Keane, I'm hopeful they would disappear after a season working with Ranieri. Who knows, this time next year we could have so-called experts on the game (e.g. 'Arry) calling for Keane to be in the England squad (instead of Jamaica's Wes Morgan).
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Something else people should think about - both Morgan and Huth are reasonably slow, so some more athleticism in that department wouldn't be a bad thing.
GaelicFox Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 I remember him on loan with us few years ago he got man of the match when Huddersfield dumped us out of the cup on a cold night , he scored and was MOM , he came up to the suite to get his prize and the Birch was so nice to him he was a nervous lad and struggled to speak to the crowd but was very humble , I thought he might struggle at United for game time , seems to have done well at burnley , but is he a 10m player ? Not currently
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 17:00 LEICESTER BID FOR KEANE Sky sources say that Leicester have made a £10m bid for Burnley centre-back Michael Keane. The youngster has excelled since joining Burnley permanently from Manchester United in January 2015, and helped steer the club to the Championship title last season.
apple987 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Maybe we are looking at Keane and dunk partnership in games after champions league games. Huth and Morgan are getting on a bit I suppose. So probably can't play all the league and champions league games
Babylon Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 we are heading to the CL....stop looking at freaking championship level playersYou may have missed it, but we won the league with "championship level" players littering the team. They were lower league players with ability and room to improve and they did.Our squad shows quite clearly the level you are currently playing at is not always an indicator of what they are capable of.

Just because Leicester players did it doesn't mean other players will As I said with champions league to come you can't spend 12 million on championship level talent

He's progressed into a very good centre half.
