Tuna Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/525503/Leicester-Manchester-City-Wilfried-Bony-Troy-Deeney Daily Star! But discuss away.
Hack Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 Guy could be a good pick up for us. Remember this is just press speculation. What he did for the Swans didn't work out for For Man City but with our coaching and style could be turned around to his previous scoring rate. I would not have a problem if this came off.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 At a heavily discounted price he could do a job for us maybe
BenTheFox Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 Seems Lazy to me. Also, OJ Simpson has a better first touch. Not so keen.
dbtcity Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 Not going to get the nod ahead of vardy and doesn't seem like the type of player to play in behind him either so it's a no from me
Vindaloo FOX Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 YES if the price and wage is right but this is coming from the dailystar so its bullshit. and even if he did come he would be off to the ACON .
Finnegan Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 Tidy footballer that should never have moved to city. Was immense at Swansea, absolutely destroyed us at their place year before last.
Donut Posted 25 June 2016 Posted 25 June 2016 Not only has a languid, selfish style that we havent seen at Leicester for quite a while and certainly wasnt an ingredient of our title push, he also seems to have totally lost his eye for goal and sharpness. In the appearances he has had for Man City, whilst being fed by the likes of Silva, De Bruyne, Yaya, certainly and upgrade on Swansea, he has snatched at chances and looked poor. Also being an AFCON player for me is a major negative. So no for me.
tsintskaro Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 He was so bad last season, cant see him reborn from ashes
weller54 Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Bony M mmmmm! ..I'd rather a brown girl in the ring!
ian_marshall Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Can't see this one happening, really doesn't fit the Leicester mould in terms of attitude, desire, work rate, etc.
dpjfox Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Most can see how Deeney could fit into the squad, but Bony? (previous good Premier League scoring rate), im sure we could re-kindle , but his style does not fit in with the current playing pattern, never say never, there could be a Plan B in the pipeline
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Bony on his own, no way. If we were to sign Siguurdson (or however you spell it!) too, I wouldnt be against it. They are two players that compliment each other wonderfully and if we could re-capture that chemistry, it would be very handy indeed!
Countryfox Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Definite ploy to get Troy to pull his finger out and get that transfer request in imo, he was always the one that they have set their heart on.
Steve Earle Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 it's a no from me too - would rather give Ulloa a new contract...
lgfualol Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 I dont think I've ever seen him run more than jog tbh
Tuna Posted 26 June 2016 Author Posted 26 June 2016 For me, he's gone backwards massively since joining Man City. He looks too heavy and lazy.
Fox92 Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Absolutely brilliant for Swansea. Never good enough for the move to Manchester City - doesn't even play regular anyway - but I rekon we could get the best out of him again.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Bony was excellent at Swansea with regular game time, I think we could get him back to his best. As similar to Benteke IMO, if we get Bony into form again, we've got a very good striker.
Edingleyfox Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 At 20 million could be a good buy if he is motivated to join us.Remember the Swansea game a couple of years back. Not sure about the club wage structure however expect he would be another player on around £100k per week.Although he is potentially a better player than Deeney suspect the Watford man would be more suitable all round and fit in with the others- need to be careful recruiting stars from big clubs.
