Jattdogg Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Today showed me that we can beat arsenal at home. Think it will be tough but I can see us both playing safe as 2 losses in a row could be disastrous for winning the league. That said would love Vardy to score a hat trick in a 3 nil win just to rub it in. Wishful thinking!

Harry - LCFC Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I think the win should be firmly in our sights for this game. They look weak compared to what we'd expect of them and I get the feeling our attack could explode into life in any given game.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I think it's clear...There's gonna be goals! We are conceding at will, and so are the Arse! 3-2 Leicester...

Sharpe's Fox Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I think we should be confident of beating Arsenal. Hull leicestered us yesterday, get the mentality and the team shape right and we can go back to leicestering teams ourselves. I have no fear of these lot; they are weak.
Number 6 Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mendy Drinkwater Mahrez Okazaki Musa Vardy Get defence back that were so good last year. Expect Arsenal to come at us so want pace up top with Vardy and Musa but think Okazaki needs to be in to link midfield and attack. Tough opening weekends for both, reckon it'll end in a draw.

SheppyFox Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 If the negativity is to be believed on here then I'm looking to be able to afford a ticket again to take my family like I used to!
tsintskaro Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 They were too tired last 30 minutes when they scored those 2 goals and it was 3-4 and there was still 25 minutes, they could not control the ball and there was moment when none of 3 players go for a ball and then liverpool footbaler took it Xhaka played 20 minutes and commited 4 fouls Sanchez does not look fit they will have Ozil and koschielny but they lack fitness so leicester have great chance to restore its "prestige" and get self confident I believe in Claudio

ARM1968 Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Tough game. Winnable if we play well and CR gets his thinking cap on.

TheSomersetFox Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Reckon the lads will be seriously hurting after yesterday so I expect us to bounce back. We were brilliant at responding to defeats last year so i'd be shocked (and a little worried) if we don't react with at least a proper performance. Total faith in Ranieri and the players to get it right though.
Wymsey Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 We have to be up for it and we're certain to. Would love a comfortable win and get Wenger under even more pressure and to see Arsenal fans say that it was somehow unfair on them.
Russell sprout Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I think the arsenal result was great for us today, the pressures more on them and wenger than us,they'll go all out which will play into are hands,I'm more optimistic now than I would be had they won
foxinsox Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Amartey Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Subs: Zieler, Mendy, Gray, Musa, Chilwell, Ulloa. Musa and Gray on as impact subs. I would like to see Fuchs on Left wing in front of Chilwell. He was our best ball winner after Kante last year, and likes to get forward, but maybe this is not the game to experiment. I would love to win but would take a point.
Phube Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I'm never confident of beating Aresenal. We just haven't done it in the league since John Major was PM!
Kitchandro Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Mendy Drinkwater Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Need to get back to the Leicester of last season and this is as close as we can get. Then we can start integrating new players, if they're good enough. I'm quite pessimistic about our chances after our performance against Hull, which was nothing like the Leicester we know in any way, but we had 18 months doing pretty much all the right things so we must be able to revert back to that as quickly as we've gone away from it. The important thing is we stick to our philosophy. We went away from it against Hull and it ruined us. Soak up the pressure when needed an when we get the ball get near their goal as quickly as possible. Stop trying to be like Tottenham. Mahrez deserves to be dropped after his last two displays but I think he'll be up for it against these and if he is we can't afford not to play him.
Wymsey Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Be interesting to see whether Mahrez is fired up for this one, in particular.
