LCFC FOX Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 After reading the Brugge thread I thought I'd make a poll to see how many actually care about standing in there seat or wether they just stand anywhere.
foxinsocks Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 While I don't mind, I know that this is a real problem for some older and family supporter. AT Wembley there was a singing section and so those who moaned about standing within that section had no real complaint... but we have to recognise that some support do want a seat and do want to sit. I wqonder if we could agree to avoid standing in the front 5 or6 rows?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 I predict this thread will go south real fast and get locked by about 10pm

It's about whether you are bothered about sitting/standing in the seat which is allocated to you on your ticket.
AKCJ Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 I've seen plenty of people get really weird about this at away games. Mindless idiot - "OI SIT DOWN, WE CAN'T SEE WITH ***** LIKE YOU STANDING. SIT THE **** DOWN". Me- "Sorry mate, do you wanna swap seats?" Mindless idiot - "NO THESE ARE MY SEATS, I PAID FOR THEM".

walkerleeds Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 There was a couple of times last season someone was stood in my space at away games, so did what any normal person would do, got over it and found myself another space. What Knocky said a few years ago is true isn't it...
Fox92 Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 I stand where I get my ticket. I've seen plenty of times where it has kicked off ... Scunthorpe away I remember someone ending on the floor ... But this is why, for me, everywhere should be unreserved. I've been to aways such as Barnsley where they let you go where you want and I think that'd be better for everyone.
stripeyfox Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Well, if I buy a ticket for an away game, I'm not particularly fussed whether its Row D Seat 74 or Row K Seat 52. As long as I'm in, then fine. But.... when I get to the ground, I have a ticket with a number on it - so that is the logical place to stand (or sit). If I try and stand (or sit) somewhere other than my allocated seat then I run the risk of that guy challenging me when he gets here. I can't see that there is a whole lot wrong with locating yourself in the place allocated?
red5 Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Poll title should be, Who's got the Biggest Willy

potter3 Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Prefer to be towards the back since I'd like to stand and not block anybody's view, but I'm not going to kick some random out of their seat to do it.

Back for me all day long, that's why I tick it on the away form every season although I can end up with middle to front rows some times. Maybe it's down to the home teams selling requirements to our club.
Dan Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Couldn't really care less although now that you can pick a specific seat online I suppose I'm a bit more inclined to go to it as I'll deliberately pick a certain area.
Nalis Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Love standing at aways but to answer the q my answer is an emphatic yes. You would have to make all seats unreserved for a 'stand wherever the hell you want' arrangement to work. If someone takes your seat it might take to you move 8/9 times at least before you stop getting told 'you're standing in my spot'...
s11nny Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Don't get why u wouldn't just stand at the seat allocated to you. If everyone did that there would be no issues.

RowlattsFox Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 I must admit I do find it easier to have an allocated 'seat' area, as long as people nearby are standing. Rather than pissing about trying to find empty seats 10 minutes before kick off because people always leave the central seats free.
Bugg Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Considering that you can pick your seats when you order an away ticket online now, I don't think there can really be any grounds for complaint about not getting a seat near to the back if you want to stand
BroughtonFox Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 no why would anyone care? away ends would be better if they were unreserved!
crisp packet Posted 7 September 2016 Posted 7 September 2016 Depends? if I am with the lads not bothered.. But if I take the young un would prefer 1st few rows so she can see...?
