Liverpool were the better team and played very well. It is however a long season and I have faith that we will build up and have a good season.

Its the lack of effort that I find disgusting and disgraceful, I appreciate when you are beaten by a better team but to not even try (which is what it feels like) is an insult to themselves and the fans who travelled. I hope this acts as a catalyst as the Arsenal 5-2 defeat did.

Ranieri is clearly a decent manager, that hasn't changed overnight. But...you have to wonder what has gone with Steve Walsh. Also, how far have we moved from the sports science emphasis which was such a strength of Nigel Pearson's setup? We also need to stop thinking about last season. It will not win us any game this season.
