Leicester monitoring Leeds full-back Charlie Taylor who could be available for free next summer

Premier League champions Leicester are monitoring Leeds' highly-rated full-back Charlie Taylor.

The left-back, 23, is the latest starlet off the Elland Road production line and has top-flight suitors.

The Foxes sent scout Dave Philpotts to Leeds' midweek EFL Cup win over Championship rivals Norwich.

Taylor has rejected a new contract offer at Leeds and will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Saw an article yesterday saying Pulis would pay £4M for him. Surely we can outspend West Brom and If he's a Tony approved defender then he's good enough for me. But surely Chilwell goes if we sign him.

Charlie Taylor can play a number of positions, mostly LB & LW. He could be a replacement for Schlupp, if he leaves.

From NGolo Kante to Arter.. i feel like that is a joke lol

no doubt hes probably a decent steady player but surely we have more ambitious signings in mind with our champions league status.

and if Silva isn't fit and we cant get him id go all out for Schneiderlin ... Most Man Utd fan rate him higher than most their options. He Knows the prem inside out an would get down to work straight away.

Him and Drinky would be class.

Arter is quality, people think because he's a Bournemouth player he's not good enough for us. Be good to see him a drinkwater together can't see it happening though.

Re-read what you've just said.

Blimey.

One thing that has always bugged me about Harry Arter is why do commentators always say his full name.

Listening to commentators you'd think he was some Spanish midfielder. "Nice ball there for Arriata"

It's like a West Brom fan asking us if we'd swap Chris Brunt & Claudio Yacob for Danny Drinkwater.

"Jones - Drinkwater. Not much in it".

tbf I don't see how we're going to take advantage of our champions league status in January, most will expect us to go out in the final 16 so will they really just jump ship for two games.

Good point, our best opportunity was in the summer.
