ian_marshall Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Not a rumour, but just saw on the BBC that Smalling and Darmian are likely to be available in January. Both 26 with CL and International experience. Would have them here in a heartbeat to freshen up the defence.

Much better going forward than he is at defending

With the Red Bull funding they are well on their way to becoming a European super power. Current strategy is to buy the best young talent in Europe and form a team round them. Given the success of RB in other sports like F1 I expect they'll be a major player like PSG within the next 5-10 years.
