Number 6 Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Thought musa looked good. Annoying to throw it away once 2 up. Don't blame fatigue on Sat if we fail to win, it won't be the reason. Was looks done for us, surprised. Benalouane looks done for us, CB needed in Jan. I hate Chelsea, as long as they win fook all it'll be OK.
the fox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 To think that some people wanted mahrez to be benched or even wanted sell him. Thank god he stayed. The team can not start a proper attack without him. Arrghhh the afcon gonna be a nightmare
Dr The Singh Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Hope Drinkwater gets the day off tomorrow to rest, what a bloody waste
Ted Maul Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Couldn't have gone much worse after being 2-0 up. Still, it was our reserves against a pretty much full strength Chelsea side and it showed. We've got some good players on the fringes, but some just aren't good enough to compete with the likes of Chelsea. No shame in that, we're still developing as a club. Not sure why it took Ranieri so long to change things though, we had problems from an early stage.

Could of been worse.. Chelsea had so many shots.. 30 odd?... 2-8 wouldn't have looked out of place. They destroyed us.
CockneyFox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Need at least one CB; Morgan and Huth won't last forever, Was is over the hill and Hernandez has yet to settle with English football.
The Guvnor Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Really disappointing to lose from a 2 goal lead but conceding that late in the first half, Marcins weak header out the box goal to Azpilicueta, Marcins MMA elbow to Costa and there you have it a right fcuk up.
Guest ttfn Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Easy to forget (and I know Chelsea had chances too) that King, Schlupp and Musa all missed great chances to win the game for us. Its easy to be all doom and gloom but we were let down by a couple of individual performances today - most of the team did OK against a Chelsea XI that cost over £150 million to put together, followed by the addition of another £60 million of subs.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 second half the back 4 looked awful and let us down . King looked crap and Jeff should have come off .

Grewks Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Ranieri got it wrong, 3rd time in 6 games this season. This isn't some kind of 'knee-jerk' reaction. He either had to win the game, or rest the first XI, he did neither.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 4 minutes ago, Captain... said: You can behave as well, we lost to Hull after extra time in the League Cup last season, didn't do us any harm. Why does everyone get so dramatic? Our reserves lost to Chelsea in the League Cup third round. Happy feeling gone? Did you miss the last 2 games? Not so bothered about the result, everything that could go wrong did go wrong in the worst way possible. Every goal was conceded at the worst possible time in the worst way.
John Williams Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Leicester vs Chelsea, EFL CUP. Tue 20 September 2016. 19:45. King Power Stadium. In astrology (may work): the logo/symbol of the match will be: * Leicester: A Flag Bearer In A Battle. ( = unarmed ) Keynote: The nobly accepted subservience of the individual to collective values and goals = Consecration to an Ideal. The symbol asks Leicester: Are you ready to assume this role!!?? The flag-bearer is unarmed, defensless; yet he can be the rallying point for the total effort of the team. unarmed = maybe the absence of big players big weapons! * Chelsea: An Airplane Sails, High In The Clear Sky. Keynote: A consciousness able to transcend the conflicts and pressures of the personal life. = Transcendent Realization. * Play & Score: An Indian Warrior Riding Fiercely, Human Scalps Hanging From His Belt. Keynote: The aggressiveness of human instincts when fighting for their earthly base of operation. = violence and aggressiveness are basic = Violence For Survival. . * I think: The game will be a bit violent and aggressive. There will be no draw. It will be too difficult for Leicester to win. It will be less difficult for Chelsea to win.
brucey Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Don't care about the cups, particularly if we were planning on continuing to play that many first teamers. Manager will brush it off as usual, 'lost against a better team'. Won't affect squad morale, they were expecting a loss anyway, judging from pre-match interviews. No injuries during the match, let's hope that there is no additional fatigue carried forwards into the matches that matter.

Felt a bit for Musa as he did everything you would expect, it was the slightest touch from Begovic to stop it going in.
Sampson Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Don't really get the praising of Gray. Same as the Charity Shield game - he's all energy going forward but offers no defensive support and we were getting destroyed down his wing. Completely gifted Chelsea their 2nd. He isn't going to get in the first team in a Ranieri side until he learns how to track back and defend. Still a bit unsure about Zieler too. Not sure what he was doing on Chelsea's 4th and he should 've come for the corner on their 1st. Sometimes feel he's too static and doesn't come for crosses when he should do. Okazaki clearly our best player.
martyn Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Wouldn't worry too much about Drinkwater, he sat in front of the back 4 jogging from side to side in Extra time. He will be fine. Biggest negatives for me were how shaky Morgan looked without Huth and that Chilwell doesn't look ready to step in on that evidence. Could have just been a poor night but Moses had him on toast. Gray and Shinji were decent.
sm1 Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Not too bothered about the result but disappointed with Ranieri. Keeping schlupp and drinky on. Taking musa and okasaki off when both won't be playing on Saturday and finally leaving kaputska and Benny on the bench when we desperately needed them.
Tuna Posted 20 September 2016 Author Posted 20 September 2016 Unforgivable that really, on a yellow and right in front of the referee, just monumentally stupid.

I agree to some extent. If Chelsea had crafted great goals from there exceptional expensive talent, then fair enough. But we blew a 2 goal lead with sloppy goals, amateur performances and silly substitutions, leads me to feel like putting shit in there faces
goose2010 Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Jeff was poor so very poor! Maybe not 100% but Christ he offered nothing. Chilwell getting slated is harsh, still young and was isolated a lot had Ulloa in front of him for half hour, lad deserves a medal! Fingertips kept Musa out at 2-2 and Kingy it was harder to miss! Sorry Marcin I think you're done here decent for us and an absolute hero amongst fans but tonight just showed he needs replacing in Jan. United play tomorrow they will put a decent team out as they can't afford to lose, and Northampton will give them a decent game.
Always Next Year Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Some one please show Musa where the gold is .
