Tuna Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Okazaki with a brace, Wasyl sending off. 2 goals either side of half time gave the momentum to Chelsea, sending off sealed the result. Out of the league cup, thougts etc.
Vacamion Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Remember when we were 2-0 up against Chelsea and bossing it? Good times.
AjcW Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 I wouldn't worry too much about Wes, Danny and Simmo... they didn't move after half time so they'll be fine for Saturday!
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 It's been a disaster of a night for us. Go 2-0 up and we're all set but we can't hold on for one minute of added time and then they come out and score another. Wasyl sent off on 90 minutes and they win the game as fast as you can say "well at least we could get a goal on the counter with Vardy." Just to summarise: happy feeling in the camp has gone, our player of the season so far is knackered, manager had a absolute 'mare and we are £12 million out of pocket because we didn't sell Schlupp.
FuchingKante Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Hopefully this is the last time we will ever see Wasyl play in a Leicester shirt
Wymsey Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 All changed when Was went. Thought some performances dropped off afterwards. Move on with reflection.
Stevosevic Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Gray and Okazaki of the normal bench players did well. Wasilewski, Chilwell, King, Musa, Schlupp didn't make much of a claim for a starting spot. Abysmal in some cases.
EnderbyFox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Some abysmal individual performances (Wasyl, Schlupp) Shame Kapustka didn't get a run out.
ParkerPen Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 positive attitude means we are hurting going into the Moan Utd game - this will help us
MC Prussian Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 45 minutes of pure entertainment and then it all went downhill. Wasilewski's next appointment is with a travel company and Ranieri will have to face some tough questions for the very first time in months. No dilly ding, dilly dong this time. As for Schlupp... Luckily, it was "only" the League Cup. It could've all been so different. Alas...
ealingfox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Can't compete with the top teams any more. Been a poor season so far to be honest.
Corky Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 After 45 minutes everything was great. The next 105 minutes went possibly as badly as it could've done.
adam Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Pretty poor by the manager. Fed up of watching Andy king doing bugger all as usual. Shouldn't be close to being our first change in centre mid . He has been mediocre since league one . Ah well. Big game Saturday .
RastaDog Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Tells us what we suspected; we don't have a strong squad. Not as strong as Chelsea's at any rate.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 We've had worse days in the League Cup.
SystonFox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Wasyl aside, Schlupp was absolute different gravy garbage tonight. i hate slating our players but he particularly was shocking. okazaki a fantastic worker. Gray looked bright. King should've scored at 2-2. Was did look off the pace hugely though

Why does everyone get so dramatic? Our reserves lost to Chelsea in the League Cup third round. Happy feeling gone? Did you miss the last 2 games?
NewEnglandFox Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 Absolute worst case scenario. Loss. 120 minutes having to play 30 with 10 men. Big minutes for starters. Barely made any chances, gifted the two we got. Chelsea were the worst team to give us the lead and the best team to win the game. We were just on the pitch.

Dr The Singh Posted 20 September 2016 Posted 20 September 2016 This match ended Benny's career and Wasyl career at city
