Vardy talks Casinogate

I can believe most of that. I'm pretty sure Shinji Okazaki isn't stupid, I'm sure if he believed Jamie Vardy had a deeply rooted hatred for the Japanese we'd know about it.

Equally I can believe he's not exactly the brightest lad.

Let's be honest, he's always been a bit of a chav.

Oh the irony. I cant stand people associating me with being racist so I'll talk about not being a racist to the Sun. Dead and buried news now resurrected to sell a few more books.

He's not "talked" to The Sun though, has he? They've printed an extract from his book and got their story from that.

Not that I approve of footballers releasing autobiographies before their career's over or owt like that, but it's hardly going to affect his performance if that's what his literary agent wants to do.

He should concentrate on his football. He needs to get back on track otherwise he could let it slip away. He's no Aquerro or Sanchaz his game was built on getting away from the last man. Now he needs to kick on and develop other ways to score. That's what great strikers do. He's had a great 2 years but now is in danger of  living on the glory. A dangerous thing for a footballer to do.

He isn't talking to journlists, The Sun are serialising his upcoming book.

Vardy comes from the wrong side of the tracks. He's not the brightest lad but his background makes him the player he is.

As I said when the talk about the movie started, everyone needs to cash in now because in a few years time the world (yes, there are other places than Leicester) will have largely forgotten about our success. The fact he has an autobiography before he has finished is just to ride the gravy train that last season was. Fair enough.

Regarding the racism. Is Jap racist? Well, Japanese isn't a race. However, it has derogatory connotations, so it isn't the best thing to call a person from Japan.  And fair play to him for addressing it directly in his book. I believe what he (someone) has written.

The Sun with an article about the use of Jap being racist/derogatory, has anybody used it more than them?

The Sun has always wants to put pressure on others, based on old news that most already know about, and expect readers to think they're worse (Vardy etc) than they actually are.

They've no fans in Liverpool because of their ruthlessness over a sad tragedy and threatening to put people off here using their business with this recycled trash.

Hodgson bin.

Yeah, the parallels are amazing.

I'd agree usually with the wait till your career is over, but I think in Vardy's case you can make an exception. He's definitely hit his apex and has had quite the journey to become a premier league winner and it's unlikely that he'll have several more honours to come. His legacy is pretty much set in stone from here, so makes sense to do it now

I like this from the Daily Fail's version of the same story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-3806995/Leicester-striker-Jamie-Vardy-reveals-shame-2015-casino-incident-insists-not-racist.html

Vardy said he got up from his chair and started screaming at the man, swearing and knocking over drinks during the heated row, which ended when team-mate Rory Delap took him to the toilets to cool off.

lol

I can't wait not too.

Something I achieved many years ago, and unlikely to change, as Ive never read any book about Football (other than matchday programmes)

Chavs don't go down Dorothy Goodmans every couple of weeks to visit the kids!

With living people being sliced up in abattoirs and Syrian civilians being bombed out of existence by the hundreds, what a fuss about nothing and all of it ancient history by now in any case. Talk about a nanny society. I've been called worse on the market and much worse on the football field. No-one's defending disrespect but page lead in a national newspaper months after the event .....it's beyond pathetic.

I drank port on the eve of every match.

One day, because I was doing my usual thing of rabbiting on in the dressing room, he told me to turn the radio off.

I just looked at him, confused, and Claudio said ‘You, you’re always talking. You’re like f***ing radio. You, radio w****r!’

My new nickname was coined.

I'm normally 'off on one' after just one Red Bull..

Let alone 3 and a double espresso. lol

Perhaps Wes Morgan needs to have some to stop make him feel tired during matches.
