Leicester
Schmeichel - 7

One fine save from Moses. Not at blame for goals.

Hernandez - 5

Never really imposed himself at right-back.

Huth - 4

Had a shocker for the second goal and is starting to show his age.

Morgan - 5

Failed to hold the defence together as he did so often last term.

Fuchs - 5

Pinned back at left-back and often found himself over-run.

Amartey - 4

He is certainly no replacement for Kante. Largely a passenger.

Drinkwater - 7

Kept pinging those trademark passes while all around him struggled.

Schlupp - 5

Stood in for the rested Mahrez and wasn't a patch on the Algerian conjurer.

Musa - 5

Had little service – but poor touch let him down a couple of times.

Albrighton - 6

Worked hard to make things happen but little came off.

Vardy - 5

Barely got a sniff – although his cross-shot almost forced Luiz own goal.

Not sure why everyone is raving about drinkwater....played tidy passing it sideways and backwards at every chance sure.....didn't penetrate the Chelsea defence at any point. Carries zero goal threat and plenty of wayward passes too. Today tells you why he isn't ready for England yet.

2 big take aways for me today.

1 - we have totally stopped challenging in the air. Kante, pedro and moses all out jumping our players. We seem to gamble on the other player fluffing the header and instead stand behind.

2 - sick and tired of watching Albrighton. Its either a waist high cross or that awful ball down the channel that everyone has sussed out now. He must be the only winger in the top two divisions that  doesn't even attempt to take a defender on.

Not sure why Vardy is getting so much stick....he was totally isolated today.

Image result for fat bastard

Where's kaputska?

He Played Friday for the under 23's and didn't do his chances much good for joining the first team any time soon. Maybe he didn't travel too well after the international break.

Wasn't that Albrighton? Vardy did nothing of note apart from lose the ball.

We just seem to shoot ourselves in the foot away from home it's like we can't fight as a unit away from the KP far too many mistakes or is it the wrong team selection or wrong formation?

Its so frustrating when we know we can play really well and do in the Champions League or is that just a poorer opposition but what ever it is we need to sort ourselves out quickly to avoid any more embarrassing moments !

We won the ****ing league playing it will people ever realise that? If Gueye or Caravalho or Silva were bought and we could actually rotate the defence then 442 would probably still work. Of course Kante is a loss but Okazaki played pretty much every week and was a vital cog  in our 442 too.

Find me a team who've won the PL or CL other than us who played 4-4-2 since say 2010?

I am not clear what we are trying to do tactically. More importantly, I am sadly not sure that Claudio is either. Last year we harried and pressed with quick counter attacks. Yes Kante was a major part of that but we played like early season before he became established. This year we are getting mullered in midfield because we have the wings staying wide and leaving teams to overrun us in the middle.

The most disappointing thing is that we don't really play as a team anymore. Okazaki and Kante are the two that kept things ticking over for us. Instead, now we're far too reliant on Drinky, knocking it into him to get him to launch it downfield for our isolated strike pairing to chase.

Also, terrible selection from Ranieri. We had no balance whatsoever, too many runners and not enough passers. Amartey is the wrong partner for Drinky, and would probably be better suited to a holding role in a three man midfield. Albrighton and certainly King would be better suited to being the third man in the midfield, and we simply cannot play Vardy and Musa together as the two strikers. And when you factor in that we're playing Jeff as well, who the hell is going to pick these guys out?

Hernandez was about the only other composed passer in this team aside from Drinky. Let's face it, we had a poor summer transfer window, and it's no wonder Walsh left.

If Gray develops into a bit more of a team player, then I am excited to see how he (and also Kapustka) fits into this team. Should've sold Jeff in the summer and replaced him with a more solid, technical player, which our side desperately lacks.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri: "When you concede a goal from a corner again it is clear: you come to Chelsea and your attention must be at the maximum. We made mistakes. We tried to react and the second half was much better. Now we must react because we have the Champions League on Tuesday.

"If we scored the goal when we create a chance we can re-open the match. But our approach to the match was not good. Maybe we were a little nervous.

"It is better that this happens now and we can react than at the end of the season. We must concentrate more.

Well the other two drubbings haven't helped you react to things prior to this game

As Schlupp, deary me an absolutely shambolic performance. Idles around, didn't track back, continually slowed the game down, continually just running into players claiming a foul.

Anyone suggesting relegation needs to be serious. We are better than Burnley, Swansea, Middlesbrough, Hull, Sunderland, Bournemouth West Ham and West Brom. We will smash those teams at home.

3 tough away games in a row (Tottenham away is next) doesn't define our season. We are shit but we are in no way going down.

Possibly the worst player in the league (who is starting games). West Brom must be over the moon.

Kante stopped so many top teams playing last season. Breaking up play, stopping them getting a foothold in the game. Why are people shocked he did same again today?

also starts quick counters, I watched the season review last week and its amazing how many times he started the attacking play last season that led to goals.

Cant knock Amarterys effort, his just not very good or imposing in the position he plays in.

We are not in relegation trouble. .... but we... fans club players know we can be better.

We have the players we have... and so wr need to find a more solid way of playing away from home. ...at least until we can hire in some new players.

Shinji looks a must ti bridge the gap ahead of mid field.

I dont understand how king gets on the pitch... i know many fans love him.. . But he is too light weight.

We cant afford two wingers if we are losing in the centre

We played 4-4-2 first season and never got mullered this badly and scored more to boot. We played Chelsea in our second game back with Hammond and King in the middle of a 4-4-2 and put up a far better showing than this.

I have already been through all this and provides positioning comparisons against last season and this. We aren't playing it the same way we were.

We've proven you can play 442 without Kante and put up a better fist of things. Win the league, no. But not get mullered and over-run every week.

I don't get the point you are trying to make. Under Pearson in a 442 we didn't look this bad, granted, but we still looked like going down. Christ, we were bottom for months. No names mentioned who was in that 442 or you'll just focus on that as per.

We were awful under Pearson in the 442.

The player that enabled us to play 442 SO well was Kante..a truly exceptional midfielder. We've replaced him with a kid who is not in the same league and we are back to where we were. No, as you say, we are even worse.

When under pressure 442 demands a certain type of player. One who can get back to track runs, one who can get up to support the strikers. Drinkwater is having to do so much work, he can't do either well.

When strikers have zero supply they don't score. When defenders have oncoming players running at them, untracked, they concede. It happened under Pearson and it's even more obvious now.

He wasn't great today but who was he hasn't been getting a run and Moses played the man (Schlupp) not the ball and I believe Jeff should have had a penalty, watch it again on MOTD  I don't believe he is the worst player in the prem

He's only 21 and still learning that position, might be a couple of years before he's at his peak. I hope so anyway.

That wasn't Huth's fault, he would've intercepted that ball if Hernandez hadn't have taken it away from him and played it onto Moses. Huth had a decent game. Do these c***ts even watch the game.
