Makes you wonder what they do in training? All the pics are happy smiles and laughs, then they get on the pitch and play like they've never met.

Problems all come from the middle of the pitch. We ****ed the Summer up bigtime.

I have been saying this since day one mate.

We needed to sign a harassing MD and a quality CM to cope with the loss of Kante, period.

Even Messi would look like a pub league player in this team :  being a midget, he would get beat to the hoofed balls a 100% of the time and he would get no service outside our own half whatsoever.

Seamlessly became one of the worst team to watch in the span of a summer break and one baffling transfer window.

Is this not one of the arguments against Ranieri? And will strengthen the call for those for want him sacked? We can all see that 442 away from home IS NOT WORKING. Yet he continues to play it.

I really like the guy but it's just not working the players are not playing to the best of there ability something is broken it needs fixing, no team needs to study us no more because we play exactly the same every single game and we have been found out since game 1 agaisnt hull, people don't like it I get that but my opinion is he should go, if he doesn't get sacked and does well il hold my hands up and say I was wrong

Never dull with us is it! Jeff was the only bright spark and did well when he came on. A very frustrating performance and think we should probably have got a point out of it.

Musa is worryingly shite

But we didn't win!...

And there is the problem.

You my friend are fickle.

Win next 2 games from goals from Morgan and Huths arse, make it to 8th and we have the beat centre backs and we're massive again?

Three things that stand out

  1. Our team's confidence or the lack of it.
  2. We seem not to be using our speed and pace now that brought us so much success.
  3. None of our new signings are bringing much to the team.

What we need to do:

  1. Ranieri has to be tougher now and wield the axe to (some) of his main team. We are 12 games in so now it's time to change.
  2. Get the back line sorted. Possibly try 3 centre backs; 2 wing backs, 3 in the centre of midfield.
  3. Train harder. I think we have dropped off big time.

We're worse than Chelsea were last year and they had better quality players who eventually found a bit of form.

This is the product of moving away from all the things Pearson installed and Ranieri having a far more hands on approach.

Not a single sign that Ranieri can turn this around. During the great escape at least we made an effort!

Im telling you now there is not one thing Pearson installed that could make a team win the Premier League.

And do you seriously believe we'll win the next two?.

Can we leave the Pearson/ Ranieri tedium and just focus on now? Pearson left nearly 18 months ago, this is Ranieri's time and should be judged on what he does.

Pearson's not the messiah, he's not coming back (and I'm a fan of his), let's focus on here and now and how we get going this season.

I wouldn't mind seeing how this would work.

                           KS

        Simpson Morgan Fuchs

Kaputska Amartey Drinkwater Grey

               Mahrez or Okazaki

                  Slimani Musa

Disagree with that.  I think we have fight, we just have no real quality!

We don't have fight.

There is quality, but no tactics.  Everyone knows how to defend against our quality after last season.  We need a freshen up.

What Ranieri says in public and private are totally different. He won't be happy at all and will be concerned but any manager with experience will not say it in public.

The Walsh question is interesting. he sat in the stands with the tactical guys on their laptops in radio contact with the bench. Maybe he was good at spotting what needed to be fixed in game and also where there were vulnerabilities in the opposition. Can't think he offered anything special during game prep. we are told by the team that Claudio is a specialist in prep so that aspect surely can't have changed.  when he left I did say that away from player recruitment, we didn't know what affect it would have on the actual playing side.
