Man City Match Thread

We've looked brilliant. King and Amartey are bossing it. Slim 2 assists, Vardy looking back to normal. Everyone working hard.

Must have been one hell of a prep talk by Ranieri.

Although we're currently leading, we're getting battered. If we hadn't taken those chances, the way we're playing at the moment would have led to a tirade of abuse on here. We're lucky that our scoring touch has returned. I'd like to see a bit more composure and control on the ball.

I can easily see man city getting a few goals if they keep dominating the ball like this.

lol

This is a Guardiola side, they're bound to have possession.

We should be 5-0 up.

Dammit - I missed the first half completely - (I've been out with my wife and friends for dinner).  Perhaps I should leave the second half alone too, if we're going score that many? ;)

Guardiola...really that good? Goes to jobs where there's plenty of cash...that defence is the worst I've ever seen at Leicester since we were promoted.

Looks like Lance Armstrong's doctor has been in touch again then...

Too far from his opponent this half. Last season was superb but needs to refind that.

I would suggest he's one of the few that has maintained his consistency this year following last year but we obviously have differing opinions!

I'll reserve judgement but I don't think we are. We're breaking better than of late, but we're still not playing well. It's a slim difference, but this is more about the utter debacle of man city defending to start with.

You're right the difference is SLIM he has 2 assists

Well there you are this why 10 of these players (and there one that did would probably play the checker trade games if allowed to) didn't play in Porto. Gamble paid off.

we look like we did last season.

Always said the one weakness pep has is arrogant belief in his systems and it's being brutally demonstrated here, playing right into our hands.

Amartey has been sensational.

Shame he can't replicate this type of form more often and at away games. This is the 5th/6th time he's had a game like this at home since he joined. Sometimes he just makes all right right decisions and plays the game simply while using his physicality in the right way.

Keep it up son.

A lot of people on here look very silly right now. Hopefully they look as if not more silly in an hour or so.

I'm one of them tbh mate and ill be so happy if they can perform like this week in week out regardless of the result

but their debacle has come from our determination. Look at that incident where from their goal kick we ended up with four in their box and one on the edge. The slimani chance, man city were hesitant but King wasn't ever losing that 50/50, likewise Albrighton vs inaenacho from their corner.
