No chance, of we go down I think he'll be really good for us, we'd likely lose everyone, I think personally Slimani, Okazaki and Simpson would be the only ones who'd stay bar Huth and Morgan who'd be forced out.

seems like we've been trying to buy even more wingers this window. he might be "the talk of the championship" and the best player at a struggling championship team but we've got riyad, albrighton, gray, musa, probably a few of our own youths and we've even tried vardy, chilwell and to some extent no wingers at all in recent weeks. don't think he even comes close to getting a look in here, even if he was training with us every day let alone whilst he's out on loan at another team.

You honestly think Slimani and Okazaki would hang around?!

In two minds here.

I'd be quite annoyed on one hand, I've heard very good things about him, he's playing well at Ipswich, i'm close to asking question why isn't he being given a chance here, especially when the players we've got playing don't look like they're arsed.

On the other hand, he probably ain't gonna get a chance here so give him his chance elsewhere, sell.

The latter statement is disappointing but fact.

He's too far down the pecking order here. Gray is a better player than Lawrence and Gray can't even get a proper run in the team.

If Gaston Ramirez comes then we are stacked in the attacking/winger positions.

Squeeze as much money out of Newcastle and let him go.

Wait til they get promoted and he bangs in a few more for Ipswich then sell him for twice as much. No dice at the moment. Unless he has a stinker second half of the season his value probably isn't going to drop a lot.

Depends on the fee.

I think he could become a Premier League player, but it is still in the balance and he will need to improve a lot, but he is showing signs of it.

Anything under 5 million and I wouldn't sell. I would see how he gets on at Ipswich over the next 6 months and then with still a year to go on his contract, we could still sell for a decent price.

Would be a big regret if we let him go now and his stock rises even more with continued great performances at Ipswich.

We have time on our sides with his contract and we don't need that kind of money, so keep for now and look at it again in the summer.

I think at some stage he may well play in the top flight. He looks to me like he has the technical ability to have a very good career. He has developed very well at Ipswich and impressed. I can see why a few clubs are having a look at him including Newcastle.
