Will1981 Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 I thought he was superb today won every tackle and deserved a clean sheet must start against Swansea.

the fox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Was amazing today, his passing from behind really helped us start the attack but, I will wait 2-3 league games before a label him a great player. But nonetheless, great game!
ousefox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He can control and pass a ball. Never seen anything like it in a blue shirt at the back.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He looks okay on the ball aswell, a few decent longish passes etc, kept possesion well.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Just now, Watson said: He can control and pass a ball. Never seen anything like it in a blue shirt at the back. It was a nice suprise, I didn't think a defender could pass a ball on what I've seen for 6 months.
Mad Dog Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Fuchs, Morgan, Benny, Simpson this weekend. One of Huth / Morgan has to go, and I don't think it'll be Huth. Chilwell is getting way overhyped; he's decent going forward, but had a torrid time at the back against a terrible Derby attack. Amartey is great but not as a right back - Simpson will come back in for him.
Tuna Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He looked good, I was very impressed. Claudio said post match he started 'slowly, slowly' in Italy. Atalanta were distraught at losing him.
lgfualol Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He has played this well every time I have watched him. He's really decent and why I think it would have been dumb to sell him last month. It was only Derby's B team you may say, but he reads the game very well and is tough to beat. Not like tweedle dee and tweedle dum that never get dropped. Bloke just needs a chance starting in the prem.
The Doctor Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He was cool as you like with possession last season as well. Think it was the West Ham league cup games where he was spraying it like Cambiasso. Hopefully he'll be playing more in the coming weeks, having a defender who didn't treat the ball like a grenade made a massive difference and allowed us to bring our flair players into the game.

And I can only assume you haven't seen the last 4/5 matches because Fuchs has put in as bad a run of performances as I have ever seen from a Leicester player. He's been a complete clown which is a shame because he's been an excellent signing for us.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 He has never really got a chance. When he has come in he's looked decent. His composure on the ball is there. I'd play him Saturday next to Morgan.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Made up for him. Took his chance with both hands.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 So as tonight proves, he's never been a donkey. So why with a defence performing woefully, has he not had a sniff?
lcfcben76 Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Intercepted everything tonight, well played Yohan. did think his marking at set plays was a bit suspect at times though
TheMightySystem Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Put his head on the line as well nearly getting a concussion, what a man.

I've just read the whole thing, torrid time? What planet are you on? Chilwell was class tonight as he has been very often when given a shot.
The whole world smiles Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Are people going a tad overboard here because are center backs have been so poor recently? I thought he looked ok not sure I saw the 2nd coming of beckenbauer like some seem to have. However... That was his 10th appearance for us and the times I have seen seen him (mostly in the cups) I have never seen him have a bad game. So maybe time for a couple of league starts doubt Claudio will though it's pretty obvious he doesn't rate him at all.
psychonaut Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 We have a defender that can actually play football. Helped immensely tonight with taking the pressure off our midfielders allowing them to push further up the pitch and link with our forwards. So refreshing to see us playing out from the back and keeping hold of possession. He must start this weekend.
North East Fox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Imagine most feel the same ... he should start on Sunday ... but won't

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Benny and Wasyl had next to nothing to do tonight so it's hard to judge on that game... but he certainly didn't do much wrong
ian_marshall Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Excellent performance tonight. Reads the game well but most importantly looks incredibly calm on the ball and tries to pick a pass rather than lump the ball forward. I'd like to see him come in for Morgan, but there is no way Claudio can drop the Captain without facing a backlash from Morgan and his chums so I won't be surprised if either Huth makes way or he keeps the existing pair together for Swansea. Shame really as the back line tonight looked very good.
