Wymsey Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 I know the team won but I thought his decision-making tonight was poor. Slimani's leg was clearly caught from behind when turning? Chilwell was clearly pushed when through. Our player had got to the ball, but he awarded a free-kick to them leading to their goal. Sure there were other incidents that went Derby's way. The standard of refereeing is generally poor, and fear John Moss on Sunday will be the centre of attention with poor judgement on fouls..

filthyfox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 So, what exactly have the Romans done for us? THAT REF WAS WOEFUL!
Tuna Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 It just shows you that Football really needs to evolve and get video refs. How daft is it that 30 seconds after the incident everyone in the stadium knows it's a mistake? Surely it's not hard to have footage of the incident relayed to the fourth officicial who can radio to advise on the best course of action.
Izzy Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Terrible performance from all the officials tonight. I might be getting old but the standard of refereeing seems to be getting even worse this season...
Bugg Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Was this the same ref who gave Liverpool a penalty when Morgan blocked a cross with his face ? Terrible refereeing performance tonight
woznotwos Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Terrible decisions , saying he didn't get a good view is down to his bad positioning too IMO, its no excuse.

Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 I was level when Musa went through and was certain it was hand ball, only seen it once though.

But that's the thing, it was so obvious why do they need a video ref? They just need to stop being cvnts.
sylofox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 was tw@ end of TV puntis gave us two pens and the handball he should of walked the keeper was the last man.
yorkie1999 Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Wow, won the game and everyone criticises the ref.
HybridFox Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Stinker of a game. Wrong decision after wrong decision. But at least our players kept their heads this time and kept going. The main thing was the result
NewEnglandFox Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I was waiting to use this gif so bad... Robbed.
STUHILL Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 He had a shocker. 2 penalties and a red card he missed!
Guest Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I think 1 penalty and a decision to make with the keeper (where we're the defenders, was he heading wide etc)

You need to get 'in a good position' if you're going to feck someone. Thankfully, though he tried, he didn't manage to feck us.
urban.spaceman Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 In the last 3 game we've had: Burnley hand balling immediately before scoring the winner. Mata's foul on Vardy, much worse than what Vardy served a 3 match ban for @Stoke. At least 3 stonewall penalties vs Derby, not to mention their keeper blatantly handling 2 yards outside the box. Especially now the 6 nations is on we can see how video tech is way waaaaaaaay overdue.
Dan Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Embarrassingly poor. Astounding that we didn't get a single penalty and how he missed that handball
Riyad_Suarez Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 This is the same guy that couldn't tell the difference between Wes Morgan's face and his hand at anfield the season before last. Not exactly a recent development that he's a sh!thou5e ref.
GloverFox Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Clearly another bad day at the office for Jones ... but hey, we won so let's just leave him to wallow in the self knowledge that he got it wrong too many times to be coincidental ... he's just embarrassed himself as a referee!
foxinsocks Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 He was very poor. Everyone makes mistakes.... but the fa needs to look at refs who consistently make more than average. They should be sent to the countryside to reform themselves thru hard labour
