Has to be the FA Cup. We're big enough to get promoted every few years, we always have been. The FA Cup, on the other hand...

People saying we should stay up and build a long term future- we're Leicester City, we're always a bad decision or two away from disaster, and we often make bad decisions.

I've always wanted to see us win the cup. It would be fantastic. I could even live with relegation, if it was just a "straightforward" relegation. But the financial impact of going down may be too great a price to pay. Would I trade a sunny day at Wembley watching us win the cup when I spend the next ten years watching us in the doldrums like last time we got relegated.

Tough one, heart says win the cup and go down. head says no cup and stay up

Football is about winning things.

I want the fa cup to complete the domestic set. When did 17th and 4th become more important than silverware.

nobody cares about the lower rungs of English football... plus the chances of you attracting/keeping good players are gone once you get relegated..

totally diff vibe.. at least if you're in the top tier - there is still a chance of bigger things

I'd like to say 'win the cup and get relegated' (erm, sort of, you know what i mean). But I fear what getting relegated would do to our current squad and our prospects of building for the future. Not only would we lose of some the under-performing players, we might also have a hard time keeping the ones that we want for the future. In that case it could take us a couple of years to rebuild a proper Championship squad, and promotion might not come that easy...and then you have the dreaded first year back in top flight to deal with.

No, i'd like to see us stabilise more than anything, eve if that means losing out on some silverware. Besides, if we've made it this far in the FA cup in one of our worst seasons for a while, there's nothing saying we couldn't win it next year or the year after.

Me too... Can't see any other outcome at the moment unfortunately!

I know it was only Derby, but if we play Gray, Ndidi and chilwell more often...and maybe even benalouane and kaputska, then I think we'll stay up.

Win the Champions League or stay up, now that would be a difficult choice.

Portsmouth won it within relatively recent times.

Look at them now...

:P

This was on the radio the other night. Their fans still talk and sing about it and would have taken the FA cup and still be in the position they are in. You're looking at it from an outsiders point of view.

Why do we always have to choose one or the other?

Because would you rather stay up and win the FA Cup or go down and lose away to Milwall would really be a shit poll wouldn't it

Despite being firmly of the 'premier league generation' I don't actually care that much what league we are in, especially now that we've won the premier league, I don't really see us ever getting into the top six again as I doubt the top clubs will be quite as complacent as last season.

The FA Cup would be amazing, it would be a once in a lifetime moment and would break a club curse too which would be nice, also we'd be back in Europe which is great, to borrow from Danny Blanchflower, the game is about the glory and winning the FA cup would be glorious

Stay up for sure. We'd lose so many players like Gray, Chilwell, Ndidi etc. Would be a huge overhaul and it'd be tough to bounce straight back

Unfortunately I can't see anything other than relegation this season :(

Not for me, I would win the Champions league if it meant not being back in the premier league for 30 years

I'm not that fussed about the FA Cup anymore.  Both the FA and League Cup have become devalued. Would be nice to win it and would be a cracking day out but the disappointment of being relegated (particularly this season) would be greater than the happiness I would get from winning the cup.

Derby reserves to be more precise...

We're not going to win the FA cup as we'd have to beat the likes of Chelsea,  Man City,  Spurs,  Arsenal and United who are all still in the competition!.. Ain't happening!!..

PL survival is far more important,  Jesus can you imagine when the fixtures are out for next season and we're playing Scunthorpe away on a cold Tuesday night in February!..what a dramatic fall from grace after playing the likes of Sevilla in the CL this season.. Going back to Championship football is just a nightmare scenario!!

Nail on head for me. I choose long term future over short term success.

Why is just staying in the premiership long term success?.

It seems that a generation has been brainwashed to think that just being in the premiership is some kind of huge success.

Winning trophies is success.

We just won the league, a dream come true.  Winning the FA cup is another dream.  If we could win it I'll take relegation after that every time.

Its ok saying the fa cup will be there every year but so will the premiership.  We're talking about winning the FA cup not just competing in it.
