The whole world smiles Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I know people will not want to hear positives but these 2 were absolutely quality today. Benny has now had 2 fantastic performances on the bounce. One or both (providing molla's shoulder isn't too bad) need to be introduced to the first team asap.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Yep, and its a safe bet that neither will even be in the squad for Liverpool.
ZeGuy Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Fantastic? Mate it was just Millwall. Not saying that they shouldn't get a chance instead of the usual crap we got served every game but jesus, there is nothing fantastic about their performances. They did well.
Chester Dontlie Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Yeah difficult to keep the spirits up after this. I though both of them did alright today. Benny couldn't do much worse than Wes or Huth in the Prem atm. Get well soon Molly
ousefox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 They weren't fantastic. They were decent against a league 1 side. I don't know what you were watching. Benaloane seems to leave the back line a bit too often for me too.
Fox 4 Life Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Still no chance they are anywhere near the first team under Ranieri. Shambles
st albans fox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Just now, Watson said: They weren't fantastic. They were decent against a league 1 side. I don't know what you were watching. KFS Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 They'll boss the Championship. Very encouraging in that regard.
RowlattsFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I'm struggling to accept that anyone was 'quality' when we've just lost to ****ing millwall.

I mean he can't be any worse than Morgan or Huth together but he is by no means our saviour based on today's performance.
Topman Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Benny long diagonal balls actually finds a Leicester player for once
UPinCarolina Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Benny might be at his level but at this point we have nothing to lose. Benny in.
RowlattsFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 It's also hilarious that we sign one defender in January, he plays one game and then could miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder
foxes_rule1978 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Benny deserves a start, it might have just been Derby and millwall but both times he looked more solid than Huth or Morgan have done all season
z-layrex Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Nope dont want to hear it. Sack anyone who's worn the shirt this year.
cityfanlee23 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Obviously only millwall, but you can only play against whats infront of you, Benny and Wague looked far better than Huth/Morgan in regards to heading, positioning, communication, and organisation. I literally see zero risk in playing them both against liverpool over Huth and Morgan.
HankMarvin Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 the equivalent of playing a premier league reserve game, yeah they were well solid against the 10 men right up until the 88th min
Roosters boots Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Thought chilwell was poor today looked like the occasion got to him wague looked mobile, strong and decent all round, shame he went off don't think we'd of lost if hadn't. Benny looked good and deserves a game in the prem imo . Raineri got to take all the blame today, we could of rocked up with a decent team and got a bit of momentum going. Now he just added to the unwanted pressure.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Against league 1 guys, they were good. The real positive for me was Benny could pass the ball
Jonezy Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 They were not quality, but did a decent job. I think even Morgan and Huth could have done that against this Millwall team. I do like Benny's passion and passing though.
Babylon Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 We lost to a 10 man Millwall from league one. Nobody was quality, they did the minimum you'd expect against a lower division team.
Lovejoy Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Benny can run and control a ball. Surely that alone deserves a start over Hoof and Mannequin?
