Finnegan Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 To be fair, if it's Pearson or Pardew then I'm Team Ostrich all day long.
foxinsocks Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 he won't be back - its not about football... he is not managable

Tough fvcking shit. Maybe if his talentless, gormless son had kept his dick and his mobile phone in his pants he would still be here. But he's not, so if the players feel incapable of putting in a performance with any other manager than Nigel Pearson, sell them to fvcking Derby or wherever he ends up next.
dayday Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Henry Winter saying some of the players want him back and also some of the players were bemused that Musa started instead of Gray.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I'd have him back. Pearson knows the club inside out. In the very real scenario that we go down he'd be the best man to get us back up. It might take a couple of years but we know he'd get us there eventually. Certainly not my first choice (and I can't imagine he'd be the Thais' first choice either) but he'd be a relatively sensible decision for a club scrapping at the foot of the table or at the top of the championship.

Nigel Pearson knows relegation battles. May be controversial. Thread may be deleted. Don't care. Nigel Pearson is the man I want to lead our football club more than any other right now. Bring him home. Just f**k off. The man is a busted flush.
Max Power Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Well the players have clearly got Ranieri sacked so I'm sure they could get Pearson appointed if they wanted

Favourite to be in the post next week ATM. If you don't like it you may have to tough it up because journalists are saying it could happen.
jammie82uk Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Kept seeing on here when people wanted Claudio gone that we have to stop living in the past now people are wanting Nigel Pearson The mind boggles
Buzzell Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Pearson brigade is out in full force tonight. I do love the man tho.
Tom's Pasta Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I don't get why people are thinking he'd come back, he had a disagreement with the same owners we have now and left with a real bitter taste in his mouth

He was sacked for non footballing reasons, I really can't see the Thais bringing him back after they apparently had such a disagreement before. But who knows with this club. I actually think he'd keep us up and instill a siege mentality that we need right now. But if the players have got Ranieri sacked because they wanted their old boss back, then they're the ones who should 'tough it up'.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Well to all those who aren't in favour... "If you don't like it, don't come".

Just my opinion with a lack of other options available.
ramadaone Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Nigel Pearson will never be manager at LCFC under the current owners, end of story
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I said weeks ago, if anyone could get this bunch of miserable cvnts playing it'd be Pearson. He don't do 'big personalities' However, again as I said last time, will he be any good without Walsh? The two went together like Clough and Taylor.

I have a feeling you will be disappointed and many of you will regret wishing Claudio gone... i cannot not believe our owners don't have higher morals than to re-employ the man that supported people who insulted their nation....I really believe they have higher expectations than the man who was a PR disaster... hopefully they have a plan B....Mancini

matty98 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 If we bring back Nige I will cry tears of joy, he's a legend and i'm sure 90% of our players will tell you he's the best manager they've ever played under.
Bob Hazels shorts Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Doesn't have Steve Walsh and Cambiasso. Gave the club many reasons to sack him, im told, so can't see it happening. Dafter things though.
