Tom's Pasta Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Haha it's funny to see how divided people are over Pearson, I thought he was brilliant personally, no nonsense manager who isn't interested in sound bytes or clever interviews he just got on with his job and built a good honest team
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Pearson was good for us, and deserves respect. But I don't want him back a 3rd time. It's a moot point anyway as Pearson and the owners won't have anything to do with each other after what happened with his son.To quote the great 21st Century philosopher Taylor Swift - "We are never, ever, ever, getting back together."

What a man, legend! Being at Bolton when we won the Championship, you could see how much the players liked him then. Make it happen

I laugh when people say bring back Pearson but then I see things like this and it reminds me how much I adored that man.
Corky Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Can we seriously just move on from him? He has gone, he's been here twice, done very well but that's gone. Getting fed up of hearing about him now and I'm a fan of his.

l444ry Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I reluctantly support the Owners decision today but would reverse it if they brought that Turkey back. Thankfully, can't see it happening.

What do you expect?
Kinowe Soorie Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Slimani £30m, Mendy £14m? and Musa £14m? Vardy £1m, Drinky £1m and Mahrez £300k Pearson all day long!

Wymsey Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 You don't necessarily need a new manager to have a track record in this league in particular to make the club to perform well again. Conte is in first season and doing superbly, and look at Puel doing alright as well. It about their track records in the past in being a big factor in why other clubs have hired them on. In this case, Pearson is quite the right type (his rebuilding reputation and stopping the rot from expanding) the team needs - unity and solidness, thongs that seemingly have slipped in recent times prior to Ranieri's sacking unfortunately.

Vardy £1m, Drinky £1m and Mahrez £300k Pearson all day long! And do you know what they all have in common? They were all originally scouted by Steve Walsh. Pearson and Ranieri had nothing to do with the recruitment of any of them.

I'm sure he's not the highest profile manager we could attract, but I'm not sure I've heard anyone mentioned who'd make me feel more confident about the long term prospects of the football club.
ManLikeVardy Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Some very 'yer da' opinions here. Pearson got sacked by Derby. We can aim higher. We're current Premier League champions ffs.

lee7 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 This will never ever happen! He has had all his chances under these owners.
Ozwin Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 As mental as it sounds at least with Pearson he'd probably stick around if we did go down. Christ, what am I saying. How mental is it being a Leicester fan?
