CL Quarter Final Draw

Also, a dream draw for Leicester and the other 7 teams would be Barca vs Real and Bayern vs Man City.

I think you've a chance in a one off match against any of the other potential opponents. That said, realistically over two legs despite your good form you're gonna struggle more against Barca, Real and Bayern.

If it were me, Id' hope for City (I know, boring) or Monaco, or Juve next. Hope that Real and Barca meet either in the quarters or the semis and that you get City or Monaco or Juve again (depending obviously which get through each subsequent round).

So then a busy schedule, after getting back form the international break...

  • Match 18th (this Sat) - West Ham (Away)
  • International break
  • April 1st (Saturday) - Stoke (Home)
  • April 4th (Tuesday) - Sunderland (Home)
  • April 9th (Sunday) - Everton (Away)
  • April 11th/12th - first leg
  • April 15th (Saturday) Crystal Palace (Away)
  • April 18th/18th - second leg

And then a break that weekend after - with the Spurs game postponed

Everton is scheduled for the Sunday, any chance that could be moved to the Saturday or that we'll be guaranteed to play on the 1st leg on the Wednesday? Manchester City play on the Saturday before, so depending on the teams we draw (assuming they go through) and their schedules, then it should be them on Tuesday, us on Wednesday? Do they still try to separate the days that teams from the same country play?

I think the two home games and break did us a big favour for the game yesterday. This looks a bit more tricky though. Almost wouldn't mind Man City because that reduces the traveling a bit.

Sky announced it would be 12.30 Saturday V Everton if Leicester made QF

Any team apart from Atletico please. Not only do they have some sort of historical hoodoo over us, stylistically they would seem to be the best equipped not to be rattled by us.

If Monaco go through, Mahrez vs Benjamin Mendy would be interesting. Played together at Le Havre.

Lots of man love in this Le Havre video - documenting the journey to an away game at Arles-Avignon at the end of the 2012/2013 season (cameraman: Riyad Mahrez):

Anyone clear on how it works regarding what order the home/away fixtures are and what the process is on deciding which date 11/12 April and the following week we play?

Just random I think.

Would love to go to Dortmund, Madrid or Barca plus they would all have big allocations.

Monaco's ground holds less than 19K. Our allocation would be tiny.

Monaco would be our best chance of going through, but their ground is tiny and they had an alcohol ban in the city tonight apparently.

Dortmund would be perfect!

Don't know why, but I have a feeling we're going to get drawn against Juve.

Me too. And after what Buffon said about us it would be just typical.

Away leg first please, am not working on 11th or 12th - not been able to get to any of the other away legs due to work!

Think I want Juventus or Monaco. Or maybe Dortmund. Don't fancy any of the others much!
