lgfualol Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 I imagine they will heat up our ball and we'll get Madrid.

STUHILL Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 I honestly think we COULD beat Monaco, Athletico, Dortmund and Juve over 2 legs... I fear Barce, Bayern and Real could destroy us though Monaco is our best chance of progressing but I would love Real Madrid. Bayern I actually fear more than any. They seem so ruthless at the moment. Monaco = Best chance of getting to Semi's Real = biggest glamour tie

It's not quite as glamorous as a Barca or Real and yet they do look utterly ruthless like you say.
dynamark Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 \All these teams games seem to produce a lot of goals for and against Dont expect a quiet night. Anyone will be fine but if want to progress then rather we miss Barca and Real.
maddog Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Can't believe we get to watch some retired clown fumble and struggle with those plastic balls again
Ted Maul Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Easter holidays. Flights won't be cheap whoever we get drawn against.

MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Shinji's already scored three times with Mainz against Dortmund: Twice at home, once at the Signal Iduna Park.

I've been using skyscanner, so I can see the spread across various companies. It was defo a factor with the Sevilla game.
les-tah Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Maybe one for the travel experts here... But Without all of us trawling through skyscanner and hotels can someone give a brief idea of what would be cheapest destinations for us? Flights and accom (just roughly) like i imagine Monaco could be costly? or a flights to Turin? Thanks.
Leamington Fox Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Chances of the allocation getting past season ticket holders? It obviously depends on whom we draw and the size of the allocation, of course. Is it 5% which we must get as a minimum? Less than 1,000 for Monaco, apparently.

So, you could fly to Nice, Toulon or Marseille and quickly be in Monaco.
Koke Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 I want Monaco. Dodgy defence but they score goals for fun. But at least we have a chance against them. Dortmund maybe as eell. Bayern and Barcelona will year us apart. The Nou Camp pitch is huge and it will be a 90 minutes training session for them. Better teams than us have gone there and got battered. Of all the big clubs Real Madrid are probably the one who will give us a chance. They have a habit lately of dropping points to smaller teams.
Monsell1976 Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 I know it's been days, but still can't take in that we are in the draw and making travel plans

Real Madrid are frightened of us, oh my days... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/real-madrid-boss-zinedine-zidane-10034106 I believe all the big clubs want to avoid us as it would be embarassing to their reputation to lose against us (might even affect their share prices). eg If Bayern beat Barca or Real, it will be accepted and soon forgotten. So no harm done to the defeated team. If we beat Barca or Real it will NEVER be forgotten and they will go down in history as the BIG club who were cut down to size by 'little Leicester'. ALLthe BIG clubs want to avoid that tag!

Monaco also looked ****ing knackered second half in both games vs City.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 I couldn't sleep last night so I thought about the draw and reckon it will be: Bayern Munich v Atletico Monaco v B Dortmund Real v Barca Juve v Foxes Now where could I get odds on that?

Man City got 1,400 after arguing with Monaco's initial 900 allocation. Alcohol sales were banned in Monaco yesterday as well.

Germany is probably easier for flights given that flights are aplenty and it's not a 'holiday' destination. Spain easily doable from across the country but flights are high at the moment. Turin limited flights like Sevilla, but flying into Milan is a possibility. Monaco, fans are encouraged to travel to Nice (airport) and then train 20 minutes to Monte Carlo.
