Starting to think he's either a sack of unfit shite or that there's something £ related in terms of triggering appearances or whatever. Maybe a majority of the 30m paid would've been in premier league and CL appearance fees, and the club have decided he's not quite good enough to warrant paying X amount. Could be a possibility
