Vardy - worried?

I agree with what your saying however at the same time we had champions league football to convince him to stay.

Vardy strikes me as the kind of player who enjoys being the big dog at whichever football club he plays for. Vardy is Mr. Leicester currently, he won't be the the main man anywhere else that is a step up from us. I'm extremely confident that Vardy will be a Leicester player come September 1st. Not to forget he also loves Shakespeare.

Some activity at skybet

odds on hin to stay lengthened to 1/3 (was 1/5)

citeh now in a point to 7/2

could be fishing but if you're certain he isn't going anywhere then I imagine they would have to take a 100/300 bet. Easy 100 quid

Skybet has really low maximum bet limits, they're only allowing me to put 37.50 on that

Cheers for the prompt though, just checked around and found Vardy to stay at 8/11 @ Paddy, totally lumped on lol

Odd isn't it - why would a bookie being offering better than 4/6 on something that's absolutely certain ??

Wasn't he 1/20 on to sign for Arsenal last year? Weren't we 5000/1 to win the league? Odds are just an indication of betting patterns not gospel!

Absolutely - but offering 8/13 must mean they want to take some bets on him staying to even out an exposure they have on him leaving. That means they have taken money on him leaving.

I don't think that's always true. The bookies set the odds initially and then they adjust the odds based on punters bets. The Vardy market has only just appeared on PP in the past few days, and far less people bet on these markets (especially when there is no speculation going round) than you would think. I would say it's the person who set the odds who's had a mare.

Because people are betting on it.

Exactly, I don't know why people get so caught up in it. Odds change constantly to stimulate the market and entice customers - not sure why people read so much into changing prices. The main reason most odds will shorten is because the market has gone cold and the bookies will counter that by giving the often false impression that there's been a development that they're aware of and the public aren't.

FEN FEEL FOXY

Jamie Vardy and Ahmed Musa targeted by Fenerbahce as Turkish club look for Robin van Persie successor

Leicester City duo being chased by Istanbul giants as they attempt to lure pair away from the Foxes

FENERBAHCE are reportedly plotting an audacious double swoop for Leicester City duo Jamie Vardy and Ahmed Musa.

The Turkish giants are looking to bolster their frontline and have identified the Foxes duo as the ideal men

Current forwards Emmanuel Emenike and Moussa Sow are set to depart the Istanbul-based side.

And with former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie also expected to depart, Vardy and Musa have emerged as serious potential replacements.

Turkish media agency DHA are the outlet that claim Fenerbahce are about to make their move.

England international Vardy, 30, overcame a tricky start to enjoy another fine campaign.

He bagged 18 times in 50 appearances for club and country.

However, Musa has endured a difficult campaign at the King Power Stadium.

The Nigerian international struggled for game time and hit the net on just four occasions for Leicester.

Fenerbahce hope that the promise of European football next season can entice them away from England.

Plus the opportunity to challenge for the Super League title is also another exciting prospect on offer.

Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare is unlikely to allow either to leave, especially fan favourite Vardy, unless a huge offer is made.
