Edingleyfox Posted 15 July 2017 Posted 15 July 2017 Skybet have him 5/2 to Everton (although everyone seems to be linked with them this year)

gurru991 Posted 15 July 2017 Posted 15 July 2017 Vardy made his decision last year. He's staying put.

Fernando Llorente, Christian Benteke, Jamie Vardy and Andrea Belotti is on their wish list. Is there anybody they don't want?

Can't see that happening. I don't think there's a club in the world who would pay what we'd want for a 31 year old who is perceived to be reliant on pace.
dmayne7 Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Watching some of his highlights/play, I genuinely believe he is world class. I know people differ on that as a definition but I mean that I think he would be good for any team in the world now. Obviously there are better but delighted he's still here

He is a very good player but you can't put him in that bracket.
Redouane Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 The club will not sell for under 70M and who is willing to pay that for a soon to be 31 year old?

Crickey is there any player in the first eleven that Chelsea do not want to buy??? Vardy, Drinkwater and Mahrez. Do your shopping somewhere else.....

He is a great forward and even disregarding his pace and goals, some of his passing, movement and interplay is fabulous to watch. But I'm not sure I'd call him World Class. He's definatley one of our best strikers ever, but World Class?
Ric Flair Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Not a chance he's going to a club who only play 1 striker.

I think I'm more liberal in my use of that word but I definitely think one of the best strikers in the league.
Fox 4 Life Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Not too concerned about this as they will never pay what we want but he could have his head turned by Chelsea.
DatfoxesKid23 Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Chelsea are apparently interested http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/844157/Jamie-Vardy-Chelsea-Leicester-City-Transfer-News-Rumours-Gossip

But Leicester would want at least £60m for him and they wouldn't be prepared to pay that. Plus it's so close to the window closing we wouldn't need to stall much to make it impossible anyway. Chelsea are in a bit of a panic as they know their squad is too small, so names are being thrown around.
Aaron Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 I could see this being one of the only options he'd consider; Champions, another crack at the Champions League.....of the top clubs Chelsea are the best suited to his style, as they thrive on the counter and don't mess about too much with excessive possession. In that sense, Drinkwater and Vardy would be genuine assets to them. Iheanacho is going to be a star, but Vardy would require a very good replacement, and I'm not sure there's the time to acquire one so late on. Someone like Kevin Gameiro perhaps?
dannythefox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Not going anywhere 100%, say hello to relegation if he did. The other players tick off him, he has a good game most the others do.
reynard Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 If this is serious then, unless he has a release clause, the club needs to hold out for at least 100m. Without him we would be in serious danger of relegation I really think he is the difference between us staying up and going down. He is more important to us than Coutinho is to Liverpool.
