'Odds slashed' tell all anyone need to know. its the bookies looking to generate activity on a slow afternoon. About as much chance of Vardy to Chelsea happening as my 80 year old mother becoming the replacement CF.

Don't tell Rudkin....

Lose Vardy and I fear we are fooked.

He seems dead happy here so hopefully it won't happen.

Thankfully for us I think Vardy's age will put a lot of clubs off wanting to putting a bid in for anything like the price we want for him. Roma will probably put a £1m bid for him, mind.

He is everything to the way we play, without him not only does our methods fall short but most of the rest of squad just don't add up either

I think he would stay but then again I'm happy at my job but if someone offered me more money and a quicker path to success I would probably take it. I would be devastated if he left.

We'd never sell him unless it was for space programme type money so I'm not worried about that. My concern with JV is that he might run himself into a premature retirement. The sheer intensity of his play and the way he keeps playing through injuries could easily take their toll over the next couple of years.

He mut be playing regular first team football to be included in next years World Cup squad, so imo hes better staying put

Maybe because it's was picked up by other papers as a story

As previously stated, vardy would cost a lot more than a 30+ player is worth.

IF Chelsea were seriously interested the only thing they could achieve is to turn vardys head and make him hand in a transfer request.

Then we would just hold out for that big fee and nothing would happen, except vardy getting older:P

Vardy is literally my favourite ever Leicester player, he is indespensible to us and we must not sell. Without Vardy we could be in trouble this season, he can be the difference between finishing top 10 and getting relegated, that is how good he is.

Edit: If we are asking for 50m for Mahrez and not budging then Vardy has got to be 100m and I'd have faith in the club not to be bullied into lowering that valuation.

Chelsea scrounging about for Leicester players, who'd have thought it?

Abramovic has tightened the purse-strings and decided to offer pocket change for our best players.

They can **** off.

Bullshit news will be flying about with all and the butchers dog being linked with other clubs, what with probably be the lack of truthful rumours the gutter press will make up all their own Bullshit stories

I really don't think any of our players will be leaving before the window slams shut a week on Thursday I still don't think Mahrez will go either  !!

He is the new Steve Walsh, hope he stays a lot longer.

I think what has me worried is that Chelsea is under the home grown player quota.  So picking up Vardy and Drinkwater becomes more attractive to them because it fills that quota and allows them more flexibility in their line ups.

Such a top class striker. Would hate it if he went Chelsea. Can't see it really.

on another note people that keep saying 'well he's 30'; Messi is 30 and City have been rumoured with splashing £275M on him

Have we? That's exciting...
