He's not terrible FYI!

Nope, nice smile and looks like a decent chap

I can also see about 200 forum pages of posts where people want to replace him, though

We won the title with the same team we have now except with Kante instead of Ndidi. Since then we brought Islam Slimani, one of the top scorers in Europe for a club record fee, who has proved he can score in the Premier League, even if he hasn't been a complete hit. Compared to our Centre Back situation (prior to signing Maguire), it's not essential to buy a player like this, it feels more like a nice to have.

Don't get me wrong I think it's a great signing and a very exciting one at that, I'm just saying I'd personally prioritise another Centre Back and a more creative number 10 type ahead of Ihenacho. It's just an opinion.

And of course, there is a reason why I am sat at home on a Football Forum and not the manager of the almighty Leicester City Football Club :). I'm just a fan having my say!

I think he will be our no10, Man City fans say he is technically very good, can pass, shoot, he's quick and Mobile, I think that says he has all the attributes to play that role well.

He has the best goals to minutes ratio in premier league history.   How much proof do you need?

No way will he be on the bench.

Mostly off the bench incidentally, but he is not proven, as he's not played enough yet. He will be on the bench.

You could say that Nugent is statistically the best England striker there has ever been with his goal to appearance ratio.

Yay...our non-scoring, non-assisting striker

Shinji's got his faults but he earned his Premiership medal. No public pleading for a place in the side, just 100% effort every minute he was invited to play his part.

Shinji wasn't the world's most creative player  and most of the few goals he scored would have been candidates for the ugliest goals in football.

But for all that he was as good an insurance policy as a team could get. Somehow he complimented everyone and everything we did.

I don't know whether his name means "Sitting Bull" in Japanese but when he wasn't on his arse on the touchline he was on his arse on the pitch yet it didn't seem to matter.

Two men in our midfield was never really enough, whoever played,  but Shinji made in 2.5 and still found time to be a nuisance up front.

As a marksman he's not been a patch on either Slimani or Ulloa. But they couldn't do what he did and, no, I don't fully understand it either.

But I do know the bloke seemed priceless at times.

Leicester City hope to complete deal for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho before trip to Hong Kong

  • Kelechi Iheanacho wants to complete move from Manchester City to Leicester
  • Nigeria international is seeking regular first team football in Premier League
  • Harry Maguire and Vicente Iborra have already joined Leicester this summer
  • Craig Shakespeare has been looking to add a striker at the King Power Stadium

Leicester are moving closer to signing Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City in a £25million deal, but the deal could still take a few weeks to be finalised.

Craig Shakespeare has been looking to add to his attack and wants to have the deal completed before the club fly to Hong Kong for the Premier League Asia Trophy.

City have been willing to sell Iheanacho as Pep Guardiola reshapes his squad and the Nigeria international is keen to move to the King Power Stadium.

The striker is currently on holiday while there is an issue with his agent, but the Foxes are in pole position for his signature.
