Can someone anyone explain this logic? James we know can play at this level Mendy we are not sure. But because both have had serious injuries one off bad injuries may I add. Not loads of different injuries. People label them sick notes and not good enough anymore. Or in Mendy's case not good enough when we bought him. Attempted a few 50 yard cross field passes and each time scuffing it straight to a Millwall player stood 5 yards away. I hope for his sake it was because he came back from the ankle injury too early and wasn't 100%.

foxy boxing Posted 10 June 2017 Posted 10 June 2017 spent most of the time injured and we really haven't seen him play consistently to judge him, I wish him well if he goes but has made no impact on the team so not that bothered if he goes!

Mendy has only played 8 games for us and hasn't shown anything in those games. jury is still out on him. I could take or leave him.
FoxinNotts Posted 10 June 2017 Posted 10 June 2017 Watched pretty much all of Mendys minutes on the pitch. Can't really say he made a massive impression on me, either way. Although, the only stand out performance was Arsenal. I really thought he was growing into the game, with some good challenges, up until he got injured. I think I read somewhere that Shakey thought he'd seen some good qualities in him. I'd expect to see him go out on loan to France, rather than a permanent move.
