There wasn't a player anywhere that I wanted more last summer. He'd have been perfect for us: foil for Vardy, Shinji upgrade, team man & clever too. Do you all think he's shot to pieces 12 months on? C'mon! He had a bad season with a manager he didn't see eye to eye with. He'd still be a Shinji upgrade FFS, and there's no reason not to have both him & Iheanacho. I'd be selling 29+ year olds all day long if they've never performed at a top class level and someone was offering big money. But ffs we need some younger players up front now, this ship sailed when we spent £30m on Slimani, as our front line is going to be ready for the scrap heap all at the same time. However, for £20 odd million, it doesn't look a great deal. What I am most concerned with is if he is being bought instead of a Iheanacho type player, that really is a step backwards. I don't think it's a particularly brilliant plan... but it's their money I suppose.
