He will be 22 by the end of next season, he's not 18/19. Very strange decision IMo. Clearly not putting moores needs as a first priority. What good is it him playing in the Belgium 2nd Divison? A leagye 1 or championship move would have been a much better move for him where he will be playing against better players and hopefully will improve as a result of it.

Maybe he likes it there and requested to be sent back?

It's up to him where he goes at the end of the day

He won't get in our first team even on the bench. We could put him in the u23s. But I assume the Belgium second division is better experience. He'd definitely benefit more from a Championship loan. Either a Championship loan wasn't available, we think he'll progress better in the Belgian second or as already mentioned Top's looking after his business interests. I hope we see him in a Leicester shirt but our most promising youth CB is currently Sam Hughes.

Careful, Your straying into Ostrich territory there.

Never tried that position. So I don't do it wrong can I ask. Do you get the mrs to bend over. You then bury her head in the sand. Then have as much fun as you like as she can't say NO. You could even invite a mate lol lol

Not trying to praise the Belgian Proximus League, but if you're saying he can't develop at that level or try to promote the Championship and League One, you forget that they tend to play a comparable amount of games and pretty decent football over in Belgium, especially at the later stages with the playoffs.

And at that age, he's still got his whole career ahead of him. Would love him to be able to reconcile with the club (based on what was said on here and in other threads on Moore) and do well here.

My understanding is that he wasn't treated very well at Leicester and he is vey happy playing and living in Belgium. Perhaps its what the player himself actually wants...

they don't sign the new contract with us if he is unhappy with how he's treated

Surely playing every game and as captain is going to be better than being a sub, being a loanee there's no guarantee of playing regularly in the championship.

that could be what was needed for us to allow him to stay there - he gets what he wants and we protect our investment.

I do get the feeling that the  move will be made permanent if they get promoted though....

you mean like when he got the most out of Harry Kane?

In a strange kind of way that's exactly what he did. Kane when he was here was never good enough. Like a lot of young emerging talented players he thought he had cracked it when he got a loan to us. Pearson thought him how hard he needed to work to make that breakthrough. As he has done with others, Vardy Mahrez etc.

Kane went back to Spurs got his head down and worked his ass off. The rest is history as they say.

Same with Lingard too. As much as annoying he is he’s knuckled down well now and looks a top player
