Anfield is a morgue just now, apart from the Seville fans.

If Liverpool score a late one to equalise (or a late two to win), they will call it a "fabulous Anfield night".

They will, for the most part, have been wrong.

Liverpool play very predictably.

They're not far off being an even better team in some ways, but sometimes they can be ordinary and beatable.

Glad Mane is banned for our games with them.

Reckon we'll beat them in both ties.

Good luck to anyone travelling to Moscow for the World Cup next summer!

If that was us... we would have the World Cup stripped from us lol FIFA certainly know how to pick the best places to host a World Cup ...

Great support from the Kop tonight. Their song list is amazing - Liverpool, Liverpool, followed by Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool, then Liverpool, Liverpool -and repeat . They truly are awful fans.

Shame about Spurs.

Agree but for a true Spursy experience they need to be 3-0 up from the away league for a place in the semis only to lose 4-0 at Wembley

They still had the Liverpool, Anfield, European Night cliche book out on BT Sport last night.

Found myself cheering for all the english clubs this season. Really want the english teams to step up and actually proper compete for the CL trophy intead of the usual spanish dominance.

Basel doing one over Benfica. Highest win in the Champions League ever.

Meanwhile, PSG taught Bayern a lesson, Roma overcame their away curse, Chelsea beat Atlético (!) away from home (!!), Manchester United beat CSKA 4-1 in Moscow, Celtic strolled past Anderlecht and Barcelona thought they'd have it easier at Sporting.

Tottenham are at Real Madrid later.

Will be interesting to see if they can perform against a most-elite side, and see whether they are actually a consistent highly-rated team.

Spurs team looks weak. Appear to be going 442, with Vertonghen at left back and Winks and Dier in midfield. That midfield looks like it'll get overrun. I suppose they could have Sissoko in a three with Eriksen behind the front two, but it still look a poor team. Kane and Llorente don't strike me as a great strike partnership either.
