If another underdog won it this year, how would you react?

I'd love it.

I never really got that annoyed with the 'big team' bias and media rimming of them, because it was the norm and I hadn't known any difference, but we won the league and whilst a majority of the country celebrated and we did get credit from certain media outlets it's been quickly forgotten by them, swept under

'Our' year wasn't celebrated as a victory for the game or the 'small' club, it was treated as an embarrassment to the 'big' clubs, the authorities, the media and not to be spoke about.

I really can't agree with you here. Individuals might not have been happy and the big clubs ill give you that.

But the establishment sky and BT will have loved it. The premier league has never had so much exposure world wide. Sky and BT sold highlights to countries they never have before.

Front page headlines in local rags like the mockery all over the world. Every time the premier league and it's sponsor got mentioned.

From Xmas onwards the whole world was watching and bought into our storey. Even them that don't play football.

Well I'd probably be all for it but I'd be lying if I didn't say that right now I'm enjoying basking in the select group spotlight of sunshine.

Yep. You have to remember for example the American market loves 'an underdog'.

However I'd be delighted for any underdog. Was happy for Huddersfield supporters on Saturday.

I'm not their biggest fan but fair play to Burnley for taking advantage on Saturday and attacking. I can think of plenty clubs in that situation who'd still play 11 behind the ball and try to nick a point.

In theory I would love it but part of me likes the fact we did something so special and doesn't want anyone else to do it ever.  I am a small, bitter man. X

Any of the promoted teams - No because people would argue it was bigger than ours.

Burnley or Bournemouth - No because imagine how Dyche or Howe would carry on about it.

West Brom, Stoke, Swansea or Southampton - I'd be pleased. It'd be incredible to watch the frothing in North London as Tony Pulis lifts the trophy.

Watford or Palace - could probably get on board but rather they didn't. Shite clubs.

West Ham - good god no.

No worries. Shows I've been about on here far too long.

I'm honest enough to admit I hope it doesn't happen as it'll cheapen our achievement.

But if it comes down to the final game of the season and it's like, I dunno, West Brown or Tottenham, Arsenal or United?

... THE LOOOOOORDS MY SHEEEEEEEPHERD.... etc

I know/see what you're saying and I know what i'm about to say might seem silly/petty, e.t.c, but you know in the past 3 years (Atleast) on Sky they've had montages of Chelsea, even Celtic lifting the trophy before a show starts or inbetween breaks or even the 'walk out' (Man City v Palace springs to mind), wouldn't you have thought they'd have done a Leicester one?

Petty I know, reading it back myself it sounds petty but its simple things like that, i'd have thought it'd have been celebrated in such a way.

Commercially, money making wise yeah i'm sure they loved it, at the time, doesn't mean they sweep it under the carpet now, it's been done, it's irrelevent now, get back down there is their opinion now.

The way they presented programmes last year they couldn't wait to jump on us, couldn't wait to celebrate the 'big boys' being back, I even commented on the way they did it before one game last year how they almost ridiculed us whilst gleefully announcing 'normal service has resumed'.

probably stop following football all together. every other "underdog" club is f ucking rancid from top to bottom (bar huddersfield, they seem kinda cool).

i even said when we were winning it if it was any other team I'd have been cheering on spurs and arsenal in the run in.

No Matt not silly I can agree with that. But let's be honest putting on the party we did what do you expect. Has any other club started with a world class opera singer and ended up with a world class rock band for a party.

Both of which shown in full on sky. If only carlsberg did title parties. Other teams will win it yes but none will better our party.

Just like the poppy they will all follow us but never better.

The success of others does not diminish your own.

I'd be very happy for them, knowing the elation I felt when we did it.

If you're in a Champions League Group, and out of the 4 teams, 3 do BETTER than you... that somewhat diminishes your performance!

So long as it's not Arsenal or Chelsea or Man City then i'll be happy

Well then you haven't had the success in the first place, so there is nothing to diminish...
