Best ever crosser of the ball?

I've narrowed it down to two players from my lifetime and that's Steve Guppy and Marc Albrighton, but which was better?

probably a boring thread but ah well lol

Guppy used to drop them on Elliott/Taggart/Walsh's swede more often than not.

Never thought we would better those times under O'Neill.

Albrighton comes a close second.

i fvcking love my club ??

Anyone remember that fantastic cross by Woolly for the winner against Everton in '74? I think it was Frank on the end of it. Magic. Woolly got a standing ovation when subbed late on. Surreal football is my favourite and I couldn't have chosen a better club to support all these yearswoolly.thumb.jpg.5eea523df72745c540db0d97a184e19a.jpg

Albrighton has industry and a bit of flair. He works hard. He epitomises our title win....effort, end product, triumph against adversity and humility. He can deliver an EXCELLENT cross.

That being said the best winger we've had in our time in the Premier League is Steve Guppy. It is a crime he only got a single cap. His crosses were not only accurate but they were fashioned out of nothing in a side that relied on defence rather than speedy counter attack. Whilst we are swift and direct currently we were much more likely to defend under Oniell. Contextually Guppy was a master at work.

Guppy easily. Albrighton can deliver a decent cross on occasion , we've seen it this season, but as a ball crossing winger with only 2 premier league assists to his name in the whole of last season, that isn't what I'd call our greatest ever crosser.

On a sixpence (about 1 min in)

(Lennon's cross weren't that bad either!).

Well that's one fine cross.

Guppy used to take the defender on, then take himself on 3 or 4 times, before beating the defender again and sending the cross in.  He was a joy to watch, don't think I've ever seen a player look so uncoordinated yet posses so much ability in my life!!  Scored some decent goals with his much weaker right foot too! He was slightly better than Albrighton.

But I think Albrighton's delivery is under rated by some Leicester fans.  On a fair few occasions he's delivered a great ball in that we haven't been able to get on the end of.  If he was playing in a side with Elliot, Marshall, Heskey, Izzet and Walsh to aim for I reckon he'd look a lot better

Ooh this is like asking which is my favourite testicle...

It's gotta be the one without the big old wart on it, right?  Or does that give it more character?  Hmmm I see your conundrum now.

Please remember that the photos me you and Thracian shared were private and I'd like you to respect that no matter what has happened between us all since that weekend.

I think Guppy was the better crossed but Albrighton is the better overall player.

I loved Guppy but he just didn't have Albrighton's relentless work rate, defensive ability, positioning and wasn't as good a dribbler.

Eh. Not sure where you are getting your stats from?

Squaka and whoscored both list Albrighton as our top assidter last season.
