If he is 'unloved' at Utd, we should openly show him how much we want him with an offer that truly reflects that. Also, eith only a few days of the window left, this may be our one and only shot at turning his head. By January, a big club will be having a disappointing season and will probably resort to panic buying. Just feel it's now or never for us with a player of this calibre.

Second choice to Gibson?!? Hardly. All Gibson has going for him is youth & promise. Smalling has achieved almost all there is to achieve and still has 5-6 years left in him at the highest level. 'Course, he's not yet led an unfashionable club to its first FA Cup...! Smalling or Gibson - a no brainer. Any ITK info on this one yet?
